Great place to come and stay for Spring Salmon fishing.

Stayed here multiple times, always a great experience.

Alain likes to host and it shows. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home and it's a success. The cottage is comfortable, very well arranged and nicely decorated. Without moving from her bed, the view is magical 😉 We were not lucky with the weather but were still able to enjoy the SPA, the calm and serene atmosphere and the beautiful view of the place. A real airBNB where we will love to come back and which we will remember for a long time. Thanks Alain for your kindness and may life be sweet.

Chalet du Boom is an extraordinary place and the hosts really do a wonderful job making you feel right at home. They go above and beyond for their clientele and it shows right down to the tiniest detail. The grounds are breathtaking and the chalet is warm and peaceful. You can tell that they are dog lovers and have creative hearts just be the space they create for you. Chalet du Boom is now something special for us and we will be back again. It was honestly, the best place we have ever stayed. ❤️❤️❤️

Great place for an overnight with pets, large stand-alone cabin was spacious, clean, and quiet. Private deck with hot tub and on site restaurant a great bonus.

Fantastic property! Everything was clean and in great working order. The property is in a beautiful wooded area with lots of privacy. The cabins were the perfect size for our family of four and we never felt too crowded. We look forward to our next visit!

Our stay at this location was very pleasant. Easy check in, very clean place, great scenery, adequate utensils, towels, etc. Everything a person would need for their stay was provided and available. They have 2 friendly dogs on site, who got along well with us and our dogs. Bridgette & Pierre were great hosts. Both very approachable, and easy to communicate with. They were extremely cooperative and accommodating. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at this location. Very quiet and peaceful. Thanks again for having us, we will be back & looking forward to it.🙂 Elaine & Mike

Simon’s place was worth the price and more. Very flexible with their time and allowed us to stay a bit longer. Lots of room for all of our small touring theatre troupe. Would love to stay again.

We had a peaceful, scenic, just-as-anticipated time. We brought our 11 year old dog with us to experience the sea for the first time, and wanted something peaceful and relaxing, with good amenities, but didn’t need anything fancy (though everything was just great!). Austin’s place was perfect. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach in the morning, fishing in Dalhousie, and an easy drive to get groceries if we needed. Also had a few fun day trips, too! (We loved Bathurst beach). The place was so clean, mindful, and had all of these little extras scattered through the home, seemingly just as you needed them (face wash, salt and pepper, tea, ice trays already filled and frozen, jam packets in the pantry) - with this feeling of instant home. Also, the surrounding neighbours were so kind while also giving us our space to enjoy. We are already dreaming of coming back, and will absolutely be back. Highly reccomend for a peaceful, calming weekend or week away.

Wow, the first word that comes to mind really goes beyond my appreciation. The place is quiet, the chalet is clean, well organized, everything you need and more. The owners should take a leaf out of Melanie and Andrew's book. You don't miss anything, the place is great, grocery store 15 km away, really don't miss it.

We loved the house. In the middle of the countryside, a few minutes from Percé, it charmed us. It was clean and well equipped.

A first road trip with my 3-year-old little guy. A very nice stay! The place is perfect!

A real getaway near the sea. A horizon as far as the eye can see, the sound of the waves, the starry sky. Everything was perfect.

The place was nice and cosy. It is a bit open for larger groups (only to closed rooms to sleep), but the common areas are really confortable. Really a nice location, close to a lot of outdoor venues. I would go back anytime. A+

We were very comfortable and enjoyed easy access to the beach.

We had a marvelous stay just before New Years! The view of the river was amazing, and the chalet was comfortable and cozy.
