The staff was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Place was cosy and private right by the river. The house was really warm. There was only one big minus, it was the jacuzzi/hot tub - had to wait long for it to get warm, but thats no big deal, but once it got to 40-45 °C, the host turned it off and forbid us to put the heating on by ourselves. So the water stayed good and warm for about 30 minutes after which it started to get cold. So 50€ for a 30 min hot tub is rather sad, plus there is now way to enjoy the hot tub next morning before leaving.

Great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything is clean and well thought out. Very responsive and welcoming hosts. We also used the sauna which was perfectly prepared. Loved that children have also been thought of, where you can go out, walk, play on the children's playground in a safe environment, and even see the sheep. We'll definitely be back!

The place was amazing for a large group! It has a beautiful front yard and a large dining room/living room area inside. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We were pleasantly surprised by both the house itself and the surrounding area – a very cozy, clean and comfortable environment to enjoy peace and relaxation. There are many beautiful places to walk and enjoy nature in the area, which made our stay even more special. Lovely house, had a great winter weekend in the snow. Great hot tub. Responsive host. Very enjoyable stay. Nice for families. Garden looks great for the summer. Definitely recommend it.

Eriks made the place for himself, sooo its built with love and care and you can really feel it! Amazing sauna with massive wood. All brand new. Definitely will come back! Recommended!

Absolutely stunning place!

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

First of all, I would like to thank Ainars for the warm welcome and his hospitality. The location of the house is perfect for exploring the surrounding area on foot. There are also plenty of opportunities for hiking and sightseeing, so there is plenty of variety. The comfortable guest house left nothing to be desired and fully corresponded to the description Ainars also gave us helpful recommendations. Best of luck for the future.

We stayed in the house for a couple of nights, ordered a hot tub and a sauna, we really liked everything.

Apartment with good location, clean and cozy. Great for a family with children. Host friendly and easy to get in touch.

The Latvians have a saying - don't look the husband out of a hat. It's the story of John's house that looks simple from the outside and getting inside into a fairy tale. A great place to relax, sleep and spend time with family or friends.

Petrovka is a wonderful place with magnificent view on the lake, close to nature where one can disconnect from everyday worries. The hosts were attentioned and nice, we felt more than welcome (even if our arrival was very late) and even a little sad we did not have kids to enjoy all the activities designed for them: games, rabbits etc. Thank you for the peaceful time and rest!

Property as described. Good value for money. Suitable for families with children if you are careful on the beach with smaller children. Plus a dishwasher, coffee machine, sauna and washing machine. Enough dishes for cooking and eating. Good sleeping accommodations for six. Grocery store a few minutes' drive or a quarter of an hour's walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at Tindioru Valley Resort! The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect countryside escape. The hot tub and sauna were absolutely amazing and made our evening extra special. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and the surrounding nature is beautiful and peaceful. It’s a quiet, secluded place that feels very private, yet welcoming. The host was very kind and responsive, which made us feel truly taken care of. We loved the warm, homey atmosphere and would definitely come back!

Agita was very welcoming, giving me some fruit and veg she'd just picked from her garden, and helped me out with the Jurmala fee - you need to pay to pass through Jurmala which will be an unexpected thing for most people. It was a stop-off point for me for a night, so I can't really say how it works if you're exploring Jurmala.

This is a really lovely cabin, 10 minutes walk from beautiful coastline. the Sauna is fabulous and the huts are well equipped and clean. The two cabins gave us space to do different things, but all come together as well. It is quite near a busy road and the garden isn't fenced, so you have to keep an eye on your dog if you bring one.

A very relaxing stay! Great location with beautiful scenery. Martin was a great help and answered all our questions. We would definitely stay again :)

Alla was easy to communicate with despite the language barrier. The house is as described, it is a dasha house, a bit more than 100 years old but fully up to date. The house was super comfy and we had all what we needed. The beach is 10 minute walking. I could park the car inside the property so no worries for parking. There is a nice Armenian restaurant nearby and a small supermarket in front. Internet works very well and I could have my calls without any problems. Thank you Alla, we loved it.

Wonderful place! It was our first time staying here, and we had the whole house for a birthday party. We enjoyed every moment. The cosy balcony offers a scenic river view at sunrise, and the well-organised BBQ area is covered with a solid roof — perfect for any weather. The large kitchen table comfortably fit everyone. A great place overall — highly recommended! We’ll definitely book again for another weekend getaway or even a summer vacation.
