Loved every bit of my stay in this apartment! Firstly location was great, you are just minutes away from tons of cafes & restaurants. Istiklal is also a few minutes walk away. The accommodation is neat and tidy, as per the picture shown. We enjoyed our stay there . Highly recommended !

Die Unterkunft liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Galataturm und trotzdem ist es nachts sehr ruhig. Oben am Dach gibt es eine Terrasse, die eine gute Aussicht bietet und von allen im Haus betreten werden kann. Burak ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Host. Als es eine sehr kurzfristige Änderung bei der Reise gegeben hat, hat er sehr schnell reagiert und die Änderungsanfrage bestätigt. 11/10 - Sehr empfehlenswert!

We loved our stay at this apartment. Balat was a perfect neighborhood to make as base during our stay in Istanbul. Tons of great restaurants in the area and it was easy to access other parts of the city via bus and tram. Pops Balat and Balat Kahvaltı Evi are two great spots for breakfast and coffee just a short block from the apartment. The apartment was cozy and beautiful and exactly as described and shown in photos (I particularly liked the historical character of the place). Another review noted that kids play outside fairly late, which I noticed as well. Not an issue for me, even as a light-ish sleeper!

Elif was super helpful. He opened the doors for us in person and fixed a sliding door that was off track before we checked in. Instructions were clear and the place had everything that we needed as tourists in Istanbul. Location was perfect for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend this stay for a group of 5-6.

Wir waren 3 Tage dort und es war sehr schön und nur empfehlenswert. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal man konnte sehr viel schnell zu Fuß erreichen( Einkaufsladen gegenüber…) Auch die Dachterasse war ein Highlight man konnte in Ruhe Abendessen und hatte einen schönen Blick auf den Galataturm. Auch die Kommunikation und Freundlickeit von Mehmet war top. Alles in allem sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Amazing location in Istanbul's coolest neighborhood. Dozens of cafes within a 5 minute walk up the hill. We loved sitting on the terrace in the evening watching the swifts soar around the mosque turret. When Turktel wifi went out, host hustled to help us bridge Internet access for 12 hours... all was soon well!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Der Check-In verlief problemlos, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Highlight ist definitiv der Balkon, leider recht klein für 4 Personen aber dafür mit einem super Ausblick! Alles in Allem kann ich die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

We spent a extended weekend at Ram's place, everything was good. The location is perfect, the house is a charming hidden gem.

allt rent och fint, Furkan bra värd . lägenheten mycket bra, lyxig, Furkan rätt person ,trovärdig, han intresserad på sitt jobb. lägenheten rymlig för 4-5 personer men inte mer, då jag bodde där en dag och sen hittade vi en större lägenhet för 7 personer.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Awesome location! So many food options available within a walkable distance. Close to the metro for easy access to see the attractions like spice bazaar , Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Upstairs gathering space on the roof was perfect hanging out together. Hosts are always available with a quick response to any questions. Loved it! Perfect place to stay for our family vacation!

La douche dans la salle de bain a eu un petit souci car je pense qu’elle est ancienne mais après avoir prévenu Fatih, ce dernier est venu réparer et tout s’est bien déroulé!

Our family of 9 loved this place with its 5 bedrooms on 3 floors, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and a sunny balcony on 2nd floor off the sitting room. well equipped kitchens, not that we cooked much, with the lovely local cheap restaurants 50 metres down the road. beds all comfortable, aircon and hot water worked well. We got fit going up and down the spiral wooden stair case, we ranged in age from 5 to 70, so had to make sure the smaller kids took care near/on stairs. As the oldest person I got the top floor to myself so just made sure I only went up and down once a day-so was organised or got younger ones to fetch things. Its a lively street,.with local kids playing out till late, lots of cats, baby gulls on the opposite roof. Lovely shops and the coloured houses just round the corner. it was quiet at night, the rooms had good double glazing.Some people on right of house heard the 4.30am call to prayer from nearby mosque, so take ear plugs if a lighter sleeper. It was the best Airbnb ever!

Das Viertel ist alt und unsicher, oft sitzen Betrunkene am Eingang. Für Familien ungeeignet, aber vielleicht okay für Singles. Die Wohnung war sauber, wir haben immer abgeschlossen. Mustafa ist nett und gastfreundlich, aber die Lage ist schlecht.

I had a great experience staying at Çağla’s place in Istanbul. The apartment is located in the Fatih district, a charming and historic area with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and many key sights. There’s also a parking lot just 100 meters away, which was very convenient. The home was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Çağla was an amazing host — friendly, responsive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Thank you, Çağla!

Great place to stay! Wonderful location, very close to public transportation, lots to do. Very clean, spacious and roomy apartment. Very comfortable sleeping. The AC was a bonus. Great view from the balcony, very safe building.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Istanbul dans cet appartement situé à Beyoğlu, à deux pas de la tour de Galata. L'appartement est très propre, récemment rénové, calme, et parfaitement équipé. Il dispose d’une chambre séparée avec un matelas très confortable, idéal pour bien se reposer après une journée de visite. L’hôte, Ram ou Karim, est extrêmement disponible et attentionné. Ils savent vraiment accueillir : eau en bouteille en quantité, papier toilette, tout est prévu, rien ne manque. La localisation est exceptionnelle : à 2 minutes de l’avenue Istiklal, la plus commerçante d’Istanbul, avec de nombreuses bonnes affaires (bien moins chères qu’à Paris !), tout en étant à l’écart du bruit. À proximité immédiate aussi du tunnel pour rejoindre le pont de Galata, du tramway pour accéder à la vieille ville, et à quelques minutes de Şişli. C’est, sans aucun doute, l’un des meilleurs emplacements pour découvrir Istanbul. Je recommande vivement ! Brunet Jean Claude et Isabelle Mai 2

Great place to stay if you want an authentic feel in a local neighbourhood which is walkable to main sights. The apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming feel. Benny was an exceptional host -thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, I asked about doing some laundry and he kindly picked up washing powder for us without even being asked. The fridge was stocked with water, which was a lovely touch. The neighborhood, while a little run-down in parts, felt deeply local and gave us the rare opportunity to experience the real Istanbul, away from the busy tourist spots. It was peaceful and quiet during the day, yet just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bustling markets, main attractions, and business districts. Benny’s local guide was a great read, full of interesting recommendations. We were able to walk to most places, and when needed, local taxis were easy to use—just make sure the driver turns on the meter before you go.

Furkan bey iyi niyetli bir arkadaştır. Her sorumuza sabır ile cevap verdi sanki yıllarca tanıdığım bir arkadaşım gibiydi. Eviniz bulunduğu yer güzel ve sakindi. Sakin olmasının yanında ulaşımı çok rahattı. Sadece biraz yokuş vardı ama İstanbul yedi tepe zaten çoğu yerde yokuş var. Teşekkürler Furkan arkadaş.

The apartment was spotless and quiet, with beautiful views from the terrace. The location is perfect for exploring Cihangir and beyond. Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. Everything was perfect; I would gladly come back!

I can only echo what everyone else has said. The location is brilliant and having spent a week in the city we wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. We felt safe, slept peacefully and made the most of the great local restaurants and coffee shops. It was our favourite neighbourhood by far but equally very close to all the main sights. The house is beautiful presented and super clean. Places like this are exactly why we use airbnb all around the world. It was a home away from home with everything we could’ve needed. 5 stars from us!
