The apartment was clean,the host was helpful and kind, and the location is wonderful for your trip to Balat! The apartment had what we needed such as hair dryer, washing machine, refrigerator , AC wall units, tea pot, coffee pot for brewing a delicious cup of Turkish coffee which we had the pleasure of enjoying with the host who was a lovely ambassador for the people of Türkiye. There are lovely tea/pastry shops around, fresh juice, small convenience stores as well as some restaurants in the area. Do yourself a favor and ask the host for a little tour of the area. She’ll take you to the best tea shop with the best pastries. I definitely would come back and stay here.

Alper and Banu are proactive hosts. They are friendly and caring hosts ensuring things are well for you. The location is right at Taksim square however when travelling with I suggest you to take a cab as the house is at uphill. Also the house is spacious however and pretty. There are very good restaurants and cafes around and the house is at a happening place. Alper ensured we feel at home despite language barrier.

The place to stay, the man to know. Intending to visit his other locations. Great host and the location couldn’t be better! Though short, we felt right at home.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this sleek and modern one-bedroom apartment right next to the iconic Galata Tower. The space was beautifully designed with a clean, contemporary aesthetic that made us feel instantly comfortable and at home. It was perfect for a couple – cozy yet spacious, with all the amenities we needed thoughtfully provided. The location is unbeatable. We were able to walk to some of Istanbul’s best sights, cafés, and shops within minutes, and yet the apartment itself was quiet and peaceful at night – a real gem in such a lively area. Our host was responsive and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. We only wish we had stayed longer! This is definitely a place we’d love to return to on our next visit to Istanbul.

Really super host. Everything was very convenient, ready to help with all questions, very sensitive and responsive. The apartment has everything you need for living, clean and tidy, the apartment is in a quiet place, but at the same time very close to a large pedestrian street with a huge number of establishments and entertainment.

Wir haben das authentische Viertel, abseits des Istanbuler Touri-Wahns sehr genossen und uns im Haus wohlgefühlt. Merve ist supernett und wie Ozkan absolut unkompliziert.

yusuf est très sympa et réactif. l'appartement est fonctionnel, la literie est confortable , il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place ( machine à laver , vaisselles , ustensiles et accessoires de cuisine, linge de lit , serviettes ...). gros + pour les piscines intérieures et extérieures c'était vraiment chouette, sans parler des aires de jeux pour les enfants, salle de sport, terrain de foot et basket, ça c'est génial quand on est en famille. le métro est à 5min à pieds mais un peu long pour rejoindre le centre historique d'Istanbul ( 30/40min) il nous a fallu 24h pour bien comprendre le mode de fonctionnement de l'appartement et de la résidence mais une fois que c'était bon tout était parfait. résidence sécurisée. on a passé un très bon. séjour. le petit point négatif c'est le ménage... vous pouvez largement vous améliorez la dessus mais je suis exigeante là dessus donc globalement je dirais que c'était très bien.

Gayet güzel bir daire, çok fazla balkonu güzel ve kaliteli eşyaları vardı. Uzun süre konaklamak için harika her türlü ihtiyacınızı kolaylıkla görebilirsiniz. Kalabalık misafirler için oldukça yeterlidir. Son derece temizdi ve iletişime açık bir ev sahibi vardı. Konumu hem çok merkezi hem de şehrin kalabalığından uzak nezih bir yerdeydi. Ev sahibine teşekkür ediyoruz.

15 min walk to Beyoglu. Felt like at home, the kitchen was quite well equipped. Building has good facilities, there are a mini market and a bakery in the site.

Deniz was very supportive and helpful from the beginning. The place is clean and spacious and definitely I will be back again! Thanks Deniz :)

Отличные хозяева! Дождались меня, несмотря на задержку рейса на 2 часа. Квартира полностью соответствовала фото, чистая и уютная. Всё было на высшем уровне. Очень рекомендую!

War sehr angenehm

The host Özgür left very clear instructions and made it easy to check in despite the late time of arrival. The place itself was spotless, cosy and very conveniently located; just a stone's throw away from Taksim square. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great value.

The place was very pretty! There is always someone in the reception to keep everything safe. Everything was in walking distance! The appartment was clean, there were some card gaemes, a TV. Everything you need for a city trip! It was a lovely stay and the host was so nice and friendly, always there to help! Would definitely recommend when visiting Istanbul!

We stayed at Mehmet’s place for 3 nights and it was very comfortable stay. Galata tower is on 1 minute walk. Though it’s a touristy place outside but we have not face any noise issue in the bed room.

Lovely district with many good bars and restaurants. Very clean flat with comfortable bed and sofa in the living room. Great view from the roof terrace. A fantastic option in Cihangir district.

Hepsine evet, ilgisiz kalmadık ,bizi kendi evimiz gibi hissettik. Ali bey ve diğer çalışan arkadaşlar yardım seven insanlar ve bu tarz samimiyeti neredeyse unutuyorduk Ev ise, minimalist cok esya yok, evin içinde çok rahat gezdik. Koltuklar cok rahat yatak iyi ve yemek masasi da geniş. banyo dar olmasına rağmen duş geniş. mutfak da kucuk ama yemeğimizi pisirmeye veya çayı demleye sıkıntı olmadı (eksik oldugunda, BurgerLab bize yardımcı oldu). Her yer, yürüme mesafesinde, olmazsada toplu taşıma olur, yine cok rahat . Sokaklar hareketli ama bi kaç günlüğüne geldiğimiz için bizi rahatsız etmedi. çok fazla uzatmadan, bu evi kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum ve Ali bey tekrar görüşmek dileğiyle

This was probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Between the incredible window view overlooking the water and the surrounding area, I was at home. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking meals at home. Several local markets and restaurants are nearby. I walked for hours in the neighborhood and still did not see everything. The cat on the first floor that guards the building, Haydut, became my special friend 🧡 The space makes you feel like a local tuned into the daily rythm of the community. But provides comfort of a home (couch and bed are 🔥). So much better than any hotel. I could have easily stayed a month. I came during Eid al-Adha, so some things were closed. But it was really cool to see the local traditions in practice. I see it as a sign to come back again! And I will. Thank you Gafur and Beyora Bosphorus for your exceptional hospitality and generosity. Also - if you are a solo female traveler, this is your spot. Come experience the magic of Cihangir ✨

We had a wonderful stay at Ümmühan‘s beautiful apartment! Would highly recommend the place, which is in a quiet street in the middle of everything. The apartment is at least as beautiful as in the pictures and has everything you need. Ümmühan was an amazing host: Super friendly and very knowledgeable with the many questions we asked her.
