Located on the NC500 and conveniently only 4 minutes to Tain, this rural and secluded wooden cabin has 2 bedrooms both with super-king beds. The living area is open plan with access to the front covered decking. The lodge is bright, welcoming and warm with the added benefit of a large wood burner for cosy evenings. It’s a great base for exploring the Northern Highlands.

We welcome you to our guest flat which is attached to our home in Portmahomack. We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.
