The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Wilderness Cabin #3

The cabin is an open space with double bed, kitchenette and lounge, with views of rolling pastures, mountains & wildlife in abundance. Kitchenette is simple, yet adequate for simple cooking. There is a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 2 min walk from the cabin. While there is no Wi fi in the cabins, it is available in the main house. A fireplace heats the cabin during colder weather.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Buchan Cottage

Buchan Cottage is a 2 bedroom house with fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge with TV and DVD player, books, toys and games. The bathroom and toilet are separate. Located in the main street over the road from the, General Store and our local pub, next to the Road house and 200 mt from the entrance to the caves. There has a a BBQ on the rear deck and plenty of room to relax.

Romantic, private, fully self contained log cabin with spa. Hand crafted King Bed, pool table, private outdoor fireplace, indoor wood heater, reverse cycle air conditioning / heating, large chef sized kitchen.
