Holiday rentals with lake access in Gelderland

We had a very nice weekend at Frank's place. In good weather - if you can sit outside - this place is perfect. Amsterdam and Utrecht are easily and quickly accessible. The surroundings around the property are also very welcoming.

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay for our party of 5. Right on the lake but a short 10 minute walk to town and eating places. We loved our stay here

We had a really nice stay at Nicolette's place. Perfectly situated to visit the "Groene Hart" of the Netherlands or go to Gouda, Utrecht… by bike. The house is on the beautiful river Vecht and is in a very quiet environment. Nicolette is also a very friendly and flexible host

Great stay with family (x3 boys ages 9-14) Hot tub was fun. Local facilities were enjoyed, although the Donkey looked a little sad at farm. Saskia was very helpful. Lovely place to stay and very clean.

We had a lovely stay, very nice house and clean. The area is very tranquil with lots of options for a nice walk. The neighboring towns have nice restaurants along the Rijn! We would definitely book again 🤗

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at Kevin and Kim's beautiful home. The place was fantastic and exactly as advertised. We felt right at home immediately in their immaculately clean home. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway. It was close to busses, the grocery store and the lovely shops and promenade in Volendam on the water. Amsterdam was only a 20 minute bus ride. Kevin greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Truly a great experience. I would book with Kevin and Kim in a heartbeat again should our travels return to Volendam.

A wonderful home away from home. Great size beds, comfortable add ons, large dining room table. Water views and a short walk from Harderwijk town centre. Dennis was really flexible with our check in as we got held up but that didn’t bother him. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to return!!

the neighborhood is quiet and very nice

It was one of the best apartments we stayed at. It was clean, beautiful and has a great view. Everything was just perfect. Amsterdam is not very far with the car. The sorroundings were beautiful. Almere is a wonderful small city, that we never visited before. Will definitely book Kevin's place When we visit Amsterdam again. Kevin is a very good host and was very responsive. Five stars are just too less.

The house was clean and exactly as described, the surroundings very nice. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during our vacation. Of course, no one can control the weather. We would definitely come.

We had four great days in the accommodation (three of us). The location of the accommodation is excellent, in a busy area and yet somewhat secluded, as it is above the harbor basin. The view from the roof terrace is super beautiful in the morning, as well as in the evening. Spacious apartment with space. In the kitchen block, a few things are missing (cutting board, sieve) and there is no real oven, only a large multifunctional device with grill function and microwave. The excursion destinations are super diverse and there is something for everyone (sporting activities on the water and outside), trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht, bike tours, museums... Catherine or the colleagues from the port office are always available during the day if you have any questions. Note: The accommodation can only be reached via an external spiral staircase. I had a hassle-free stay at this Airbnb. Jan was friendly, responsive, and met us in person to hand over the keys and answer any questions, which I appreciated. It is a small, basic apartment that met our needs and was clean and orderly. It’s a simple, functional space—ideal for travelers prioritizing cleanliness and quiet over luxury. The kitchen was compact but stocked with the basic essentials. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and fully operational. While the location is outside the city center, public transportation is easily accessible, and the neighborhood feels safe and peaceful. No frills, but no issues either.

Lovely stay at Rudis cottage.After two weeks travelling around Europe we wanted a couple of night to relax and this was the perfect place. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and Rudi even brought us a fan when the temps hit 31 and the place was so hot. We were lucky to have a storm and be able to watch out over the nature reserve was amazing. We also ate at De Heeren van Maarssen nearby and the food was beautiful.

Would highly recommend this house in Nijkerk. The house itself is lovely and very comfortable. Check-in was very easy and Edgar was very responsive to the one issue we had and it was resolved incredibly quickly. The e-bikes that are available for your use are brilliant and we made good use of them cycling to the local town etc. The park is lovely and very quiet. We really enjoyed the pool. Nijkerk is a lovely town with plenty shops and restaurants. There is also a fantastic restaurant across the road from the park if you want to treat yourself to a gourmet lunch/dinner. It is called Het Sluishuys. This is a great place to base yourself to go to amersfoort and utrect which are very close by car.

Best location for access to Edam. Steps away from the cheese market. Ample parking for an SUV. Bathroom on par with American standards - nicer than most European bathrooms. Washer and dryer are full capacity. Enough sleeping space for a family of six. Playground in front of house. Hosts nice and responsive. Cobbled roads and narrow homes do make Edam not ADA friendly like much of Europe.

We really liked staying in Gerwin's cottage by the lake. Everything was as described, the furnishings of the vacation home were very good, everything was sparkling clean, we felt completely comfortable. Highly recommended! Thank You!

Mechteld and Remco welcomed us wonderfully to the accommodation and picked us up by boat. The location of the house is perfect for a quiet and above all relaxing vacation by the lake. The house can only be reached by boat. There were four of us traveling and we all had enough space in the house. We were allowed to use everything the shed had to offer and were busy every day with boating, paddle boarding or swimming. We had a wonderful stay there and enjoyed the days on the terrace very much. In addition, day trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht are highly recommended, as it is never more than 30 minutes by car. Will definitely visit again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great concept. Right on the lake. Outdoor cooking was a lot of fun. Sauna was great!
