I think it is a space where modern people who are tired of stress can rest and recharge by doing what they want, such as sea fishing, walking in Yeongrang Lake, bathing, hiking in Seoraksan, visiting famous temples, and visiting the Unification Observatory. In particular, it is not a professional pension with multiple teams, but a space where only one team stays, so it will be a place where you can rest a little more quietly. It was prepared as an accommodation for families and acquaintances, but we opened the accommodation with the hope that it would be a space for healing by connecting with good people. Like the name of the accommodation (Birch and White), the interior furniture is made of birch wood, which is good for the body, and the walls are treated with clean white. I hope you can see my birch wood work hanging in the accommodation, read a book while swinging in a well-organized garden, and take a rest.

Our house, with its red roof shaped like the Chinese character “diǔ,” is a special place for the whole family. 75 years ago, my grandfather settled in this sunny place and built a small, south-facing hanok with his own hands. This is a place where the sounds of families laughing under a warm roof, the footsteps of children, the falling of rain and snow, the rattling of windows in the wind, and the shifting of mountains as the seasons change all come together. 🌿 A space where the “beauty of slowness” dwells At dawn, I open my eyes to the fresh forest air as I descend from the mountains, During the day, sit on the floor, enjoy the warm sunlight, and have a cup of tea in tranquility.
