The small but dignified Japanese garden, built over 100 years ago, welcomes you to the private rental inn, "Dai-mae house". This inn, "Daimae", is located in a temple complex to the east of the Takayama Basin. If you go up the stairs along the mossy stone wall from the road, you will be greeted by a protruding pine tree. When you open the lattice doors, you can see a Japanese garden on the right that seems to have been built over 100 years ago. Enter the front entrance, and enter the living room from the tatami mat hallway, from where you can see the Japanese garden. Further down the hall is a tea room, where you can sit and watch the Japanese garden, which is small but has a sense of elegance.

You can use the entire entire Japanese-style bungalow surrounded by trees. It is perfect for families of up to 4 to 5 people to spend without hesitation! Children from 4 to 12 years old will be charged the child rate. The owner is also roasting coffee beans in the adjacent roasting studio.Enjoy a little rich breakfast with delicious coffee. You can use one Japanese-style flat house of Okumino surrounded by trees, one building. It fits to be the family up to 4~5 people,feel easy and spend. 4~12year-old child will be the price by a child fare. An owner roasts coffee beans at a next roast atelier. Please enjoy slightly rich breakfast as well as good coffee slowly.

About this area, Recently it has been certified as a UNESCO Global Geopark.There are national parks, ski resorts, hot spring Places ,organic restaurants and cafes nearby. It is also about 30 minutes to Kanazawa, and has good access to the World Heritage Site and Shirakawa-go. I have Eabikes, , so even if you don't have a car, you can enjoy this area.
