Great place to stay. Very neat and cozy. Lots of plates, bowls, and glasses. We barely did dishes all week! Bed was very comfy. Appreciated the night lights and motion activated night lights. Lana's cookies were great! We got to meet Jack and he took us for a ride in the area--he even let our dog come. Had a wonderful, relaxing week.

The home was extremely clean and very cute. We enjoyed every space and it was a comfortable, peaceful place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the back porch was perfect for viewing the beautiful creek!

This was my 2nd stay, exactly as expected and advertised. Very peaceful, just what I needed. The heat-pump a/c worked great throughout the house on a 90deg day. The home is clean with very comfortable furniture. I’ll definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

We had a great stay! The house was perfect, everything we needed was provided. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The covered back porch was great for eating all meals outside. Very relaxing and enjoyable!

I would say this is my favorite so far out of the other places I have stayed. Very clean, very nice. Had some toys/games for my kids. We all enjoyed fishing, swimming. The kids loved the paddle boat. Would totally recommend staying!

We came into town to stay for a few days to celebrate a birthday. the home was absolutely gorgeous, modern, and everything was carefully thought out. Anything you could need, they have thought of! The hosts were very communicative and the fact that we could bring the pups, really made this trip more fun. The only suggestion I have would be to possibly add a fence and a hot tub, then you have no reason to leave! 😉

This was a yearly repeat visit for our fishing group. We really enjoy everything Roger’s home has to offer for our fishing group. Thank you again and we will be back next year!!

House was beautiful and well taken care of! What really stood out was the house was the house was in its original settings (electrical, stove, heating, etc)which all worked perfectly and in tip top shape , I felt nostalgia at its best! Even down to the toys which were also vintage. The water is right in your front yard and there is a fenced backyard. They provide so much at the house for you for a comforting stay. I definitely would love to stay here again, 5 stars!

Overall the cabin was very well updated and nicely thought out. The owners used the space very well and we enjoyed our stay in this nice peaceful sleepy town. Pros: Quirky and fun decor, great deck out back with a grill, nice patio furniture and hammock, the kitchen/LR layout is perfect, nice separation bt bedroom and common area, great touch with good wifi and a smart tv, also very nicely stocked which is always appreciated, great comm from the owner. Cons: There is a cabin behind it so the privacy isnt ideal, didn't bother us at all but you cant see this in the pictures, area does NOT have cell coverage which makes it tough when not on wifi, also makes finding it difficult since my phone & car GPS directions differed and once you get close you lose coverage, the grass wasnt mowed which made it a little buggier, with humidity the exterior doors were difficult to shut, interior bd & bth doors need some resizing and locking capability.

Nice quiet location, easy to find and within a 15 minute drive of our family’s home in Gladwin. Clean and comfortable, host even had a box fan shipped to the house before our arrival when asked if all the rooms had fans because one did not. Would stay again.

Excellent stay at this Airbnb. If you are thinking of coming to St Helen to ride the ORV trails, this is an excellent choice! It’s right down the street from St Helen Motorsports, two gas stations, 3 restaurants, 2 pizza shops and multiple trail head entrances within 2 miles or less!!! The house looks exactly like the pictures and description, and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and indoor fireplace were amazing! I will note….it is a bit on the small side. Beds are as described, but feet hang off the bed and rooms are small. 4 grown adults was pushing it here, especially with one bathroom. Also note. There is BARELY enough room for a small truck and trailer to park in front. The other truck had to park underneath the large garage due to no park space. Other than that, which is really just an explanation, it is the ultimate st Helen stop!

We recently stayed in Sarah’s beautiful cottage by the lake in Hale,MI over Memorial Day weekend.Its a very easy drive from Ann Arbor.This destination worthy cottage is beyond beautiful with Rustic and modern farm house feels! Everything at the cottage is thoughtfully and meticulously planned and you can see the labor of love of the owners at the property. The place is warm and inviting like and we had a wonderful time in this little slice of heaven with gorgeous views. Hot Tub was a bonus since the Temp was still in 50’s.Sarah was very kind and responsive through out our stay. You couldn’t ask for better Hosts!

My wife’s family wanted to go to the casino in Standish. We didn’t, but it was an excuse to get away. This is 30 minutes away. As soon as we walked in the door, we fell in love with the place. The smell of fresh pine is everywhere, and it’s real. As I walked through the place, I thought of asking about the process they went through to make this beautiful cabin. There’s actually a picture book on the mantle that shows how they started with an empty shell. Very cool. If you look only at square footage, this is a small cabin. But, they use the space very efficiently. I never thought for one moment that the place was small or cramped. And, this is way better than a cabin at a campground. But, the real highlight is the host. It soon started feeling like we were family. Not family that makes you go to a stupid casino, but someone that’s there for you, always responding within minutes, even at 12:30 in the morning. I wish my family were more like that. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was adorably decorated and pristinely clean. The master bed was so comfortable, I had to ask the host where she got it. Really appreciated the simple touches the amenities offered. Would stay here again!

Our stay in this cute little cabin was very enjoyable. It is clean and cozy. the bed was very comfortable. It has everything required for some rest and relaxation. Even our dogs approved. 🐾

Great host and property. Very accommodating for my large family and guests. My siblings and I came in from all over the US. Jason was a very gracious and made celebrating my father's 86th birthday a breeze. Will definitely be back whenever we're in town for a visit.

Enjoyed my stay! It was very cozy with everything you need! The hot tub was amazing along with access to the kayaks to enjoy on the lake!! Courtney responded very quickly to any questions, this place is definitely worth the stay!
