Regular bus services run to Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk, Dunfermline and St Andrews while local services run to the surrounding towns and villages. The town is served by two railway stations, Cumbernauld and Croy.

The flat has 1 double bed in main bedroom, 2 single beds in the second bedroom & 2 single beds in the third bedroom which allows us to accomodate 6 persons making this very family friendly. The flat is located in a private housing development in a cul-de-sac There is also a short walk of 0.6 miles to Centenary Park which has a children's playground. There are several supermarkets & convenience stores located close by.

Seven Loch Lodges (Lochend Cabin) 2 person hot tub

Get the best of both worlds in this suburban retreat just outside of Glasgow. The lodges are named after a local area called the Seven Lochs Wetland Park This is an area with seven lochs, five local nature reserves, a country park and one of Glasgow’s oldest buildings at Provan Hall, there are miles of waking and cycling routes to explore. In the evenings you can choose between nipping into the City Centre's restaurants and bars or staying at the lodge and enjoying peaceful night in.

Central location for touring

Attached bungalow with own entrance, two good size bedrooms, one with en suite shower room, family bathroom with bath / shower cubicle. Large living room with tv, good size fully fitted dining kitchen with all crockery cutlery pots pans etc. Our house is situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh, giving easy access to both airports / trains etc. Although I am named as the host, my wife Irene assists me, in fact Irene sees that our guests have all the niceeties required during your stay.

* Newly refurbished* There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
