Cottage in Carradale

The Net Shed lived up to our expectations and beyond. It was bigger than we expected and well equipped. Sitting area was so bright and provided fantastic views. The back garden was a wonderful little suntrap if you can pull yourself away from the front sea views. We wish we had taken our kayaks with us!

Clauchlands Blackbird - Lamlash, Isle of Arran

AilsaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Blackbird. The location is idyllic and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful surrounds of Clauchlands. The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you may need making it a real home from home and beautifully decorated too. We brought our bicycles and the dry lockable bike shed was a welcome addition. Our host Ann gave helpful information near our arrival and let us know she was available if needed. We’ll be looking for an excuse to revisit!

Wonderful quiet place on the edge of Lamlash, lovingly thought out and well cared for. Snug, well equipped, easy place to be. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Very friendly host who has put a lot of care into this place.

Quiet rural cottage on the beautiful west of Bute

StephenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

Stunning seashore studio

VickiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Andrew's place is superb. He met us with a warm welcome and then we were shown our room which has the most incredible view out across the garden and the sea to the Holy Isle. Everything you need is provided for --extremely comfortable bed, very well supplied kitchen and a sparkling bathroom. For me one of the priorities in choosing an air b n b is that it should be accessible for me as a disabled person. Andrew's place fits the bill as i was able to easily access the 2 steps at the front of the bungalow on my sticks and then, again easily, transfer to using wheels around the property. Thanks again Andrew!

Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

JaneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The most wonderful cabin with such a majestic view of Loch Goil, absolutely breathtaking. We felt instantly relaxed the moment we arrived. Iain was a wonderful host, warm and helpful, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for special dinners at Wild Kabn and Inver, both unforgettable experiences. We walked every day, soaking in the scenery, and were lucky enough to spot seals swimming right in front of the cabin! The space is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, from the cosy blankets to the picture-perfect window views. Morning coffee overlooking the water felt like a scene from a film. A magical stay we won’t forget.
