Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Our stay at HotelPraxis was incredible and Polimnia was the most gracious host I have experienced in my 10 years in Airbnb. She was close by but never intrusive, left snacks, fruits and water in the fridge, dropped eggs off, recommended restaurants and incredibly, made baked goods of some traditional Greek treats that were so delicious. My family was overwhelmed by the beauty and privacy of the Blue Lake Villa. And the home is lovely, fluffy towels, great water pressure, comfortable beds. What a treat! We will definitely return! I highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Incredible villa! Gorgeous view, peaceful and private. Great architecture and interior design. The host was generous to greet us on arrival, and even stocked the fridge!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairytale Villas! Located about 20 minutes outside of old town Chania, the villa has beautiful views of the mountains and a small growing fruit orchard. It's really beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-designed for a family of 4 and has all the needed amenities. The pool is amazing. My kids swam every morning and night. Note that you would absolutely need a car to stay here because it is not walkable to anything, but an easy drive to a grocery store for cooking. We would love to come back someday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their home. The location was private, yet close enough to plenty of shops and tavernas. It was right on the bus route which made it very convenient.

We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

Outstanding views, 5* accommodation with hosts that go above and beyond and can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Recommendations of local places to eat. If you can, take use of the local chefs to come in and cook for you. Family of 7 cost us €280 as a guide without drinks and was beautiful food. The villa is spacious and relaxing and perfectly placed to walk into plaka and short drive to almyrida beach with beautiful fish tavernas and water activities. Party of 3 boys (15,15 and 12), my husband and I and his parents it was the perfect house to have our own spaces but still come together. The photos do not do the house justice at all. The outdoor kitchen, outside bath and jacuzzi plus all the outdoor terraces to each room are spectacular. Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed. Hope to be back again one day. A lovely villa - looked exactly like the photos. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children and there was room for all of us. Kitchen was big enough with every utensil (and more) you could think of. Our host was there to greet us and was always responsive when needed ( 2 small issues both quickly resolved). A lovely welcome basket of food/drink etc was a nice touch. I would not say a car is essential - its less than 10 mins walk to several lovely restaurants and a nice little beach. However the nearest proper supermarket is 30-40 mins walk although its only a 10 euro taxi back and youll save more than that as the local shop (2 mins down the hill) is only really any good for fresh bread and emergency supplies! The outside/pool area in villa was roomy and the inside hot tub/sauna were well used. My only advice would be to have some sun loungers on the terrace outside main bedroom as that did seem wasted space although lovely views of the mountains and the sea. We would stay again.

Another big thank you to Giorgos and Maria for their hospitality. A very big sandstorm from the Sahara disrupted everything on the day of our arrival. Our hosts did their best and even the impossible to clean everything and allow us to enjoy the villa in the best conditions. The villa is beautiful. Everything is planned so that we can relax and make the most of it. Full of good intentions, the products available allow us to feel comfortable as soon as we arrive. I can only recommend the Mythic Olive villa 😊

Nektaria and Niko’s’ hospitality is unmatched! They are such lovely and delightful people and made all of our family feel right at home from the moment we met them. The views and home are one of a kind! Such a special place my family will always remember. Absolutely would recommend to anyone visiting Crete and hope to be back again! :)

We had a great stay in a very nice, well-appointed Villa, with a lot of taste, very well-equipped and ideally located near Almyrida (very nice and family-friendly seaside resort). We were able to fully enjoy the large heated pool until the evening and the exceptional panoramic view of the bay of Souda and the mountain. It is a quiet environment, very appreciable for resting. Jeanette & Joha were very friendly hosts, very responsive and very good advice for sightseeing and restaurants. It is an ideally located location, close to the beach and restaurants of Almyrida and 45' from the center of Chania. We highly recommend this Villa and will return with great pleasure. Bridget & JP

Absolutely beautiful Villa, super modern and brand new. 5-10 minutes walk to bars, restaurants and beach. Giorgos the host was extremely helpful, and quick to respond. Villa was cleaned twice whilst we were there which we didn’t expect. Will definitely return! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at this well-equipped and high-standard villa. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms include shower gel, and the beds are super comfortable. Each bedroom has a hairdryer and mosquito repellent plugs – thoughtful and handy touches. A mid-week housekeeping visit with fresh towels and bedding was a real bonus, especially for a one-week stay. Outside, the villa is just as impressive – padded sunbeds, a great BBQ area, and a pool with jacuzzi jets. The ping pong table kept both kids and adults entertained. The location is perfect – between the marina and Chania town, with regular buses to both and plenty of cafes, restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets within walking distance. Christos, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips and even access to his nearby hotel with delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again!

fantastic little find, we had a great stay. the area is nice and quiet with a great view of the sea from the balcony. the hosts ensured we settled in and had enough towels for the pool as well as for showers. having our own private pool was another big win for us! thank you for being great hosts!

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

The space was stunning and perfectly matched the description/photos. The location was excellent. There are several nice restaurants nearby, a short trip to the beach, and by car to the center of Chania about 10min. Georgia was such a friendly and helpful host. Always responded to messages very quickly.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa and would highly recommend. Manos was so helpful, both before and during our stay. He left out a high chair and some beach toys for our toddler which were very useful! The villa was spotless, the beds were comfy and the air con worked well. The villa is surrounded by trees and so peaceful, yet at the same time it was close to lots of restaurants, supermarkets and some amazing beaches. We got the bus into Chania easily from the bottom of the road. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and a fab stay - thank you so much!

We had an amazing stay at Evi’s place! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She had thoughtfully stocked the house with groceries before our arrival and even met us in person to show us around, which was such a kind touch. The house itself was absolutely stunning — spacious, comfortable, and offering the most incredible views of both sunrise and sunset. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. Evi was incredibly helpful throughout our trip. She arranged taxis for us to and from town and the airport, and even came through late at night on two occasions to help us order food when our phones weren’t working. Her kindness and attentiveness made our trip even more special.

We had a very comfortable stay at the apartment. The views were absolutely stunning and truly one of the best parts of the stay. The flat was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a large, functional kitchen and very comfortable beds, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay — they replied quickly to messages, provided great local recommendations, and even replaced some chipped pans right away when we brought it up, which we really appreciated. While we enjoyed our stay overall, it’s worth noting that the apartment is a bit more dated than it appears in the photos. It could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning in certain areas — for example, the dishwasher filter needed attention, a few shower heads were clogged, and the window nets and grooves could use a deeper clean. That said, the comfort, views, and responsive hosts made for a great experience, and with a little extra maintenance
