Great location, good value for one night, perfect for a short stay (be careful though there is no window in the accommodation) Very convenient and pleasant shared kitchen

The house is great and Jim, Elaine, and Scotty were very welcoming. The house was clean and well furnished, and had a nice open layout. It is very solidly built, with poured concrete bars and benches, which the photos did not do justice. The shower has a natural stone and gravel floor, and hosts a family of friendly halloween crabs, which we thought were fun. A troop of spider monkeys also wandered through the trees over the house several times a day. The closest beach is mosly rock, but Pan Dulce, a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away, is a beautiful sand beach.

Andrea and Christophe's kindness, helpfulness, and generosity are amazing. The place is as described, with the 2flames cooker even better. It is not easy to find and the last street bumpy, but in the adjacent forest there were sloths, toucan, ara and monkeys from the great terrace. We loved staying there longer!

Very cozy home would definitely stay again. Communication with Alison was very swift and easy. We stayed with two small children and they loved it too. Nicely decorated and cozy for those rainy afternoons. The hot water was a little bit fickle, took a day to get used to and the pillows of the large bed could be better but that were only minor inconveniences. Recommended!

Frank and his beautiful Costa Rican wife, very kindly upgraded us to a huge house with enormous balcony and with an everything you could need kitchen. The property had been built to the highest specification and the furnishings & linens were pristine. A complete and welcome change from our usual rustic and basic bookings. Many thanks to Alicia for all the herbs and fruit. They are wonderful hosts. We consider them both friends and can't wait to stay with them again.

Great value, I just recommend having a 4x4, too far from Bahía Drake on foot. The host is adorable, his restaurant is super good, the accommodation is clean, it's nice, we saw lots of toucans in the garden which is much more beautiful in real life than in photo. You also have access to hammocks and a small outdoor kitchen with fridge.

Rustic spot with fantastic access to wildlife. It's right next to a gorgeous beach, and the drake bay trail. I saw heaps of wildlife on that trail (3 species of monkey, agouti, currasows, caracaras, macaws, aracari, crocodile, blue morphos, etc), and even plenty from the airbnb itself (toucans, coati, monkeys, iguanas, tiger herons). The guy who you will actually be dealing with (Elmer) is so kind and friendly and I felt 100% safe as a solo woman. The walking directions from drop off weren't super clear, so you need a decent sense of direction (it is easy though). The fridge was a minifridge which isn't great if you are planning to cook or bring fruit with you, which you likely will do because there is 1 soda. But I was there 2 weeks so I needed a lot of food,it wouldn't be a problem if you're there a couple days. I speak some Spanish which made life much easier there.

We felt very comfortable in the space, they were all very kind and helpful. Thank you very♡ much for everything! We will be back!!

Due to a small issue with the A/C i got contacted by Alvaro and he told me he could relocate me to "Casa Tuanis" where i got hosted by Jamaica, super sweet hostess that was very nice and could be easily reached if ever something went wrong. Alvaro is a great host, he made sure i was enjoying my stay even though i did not end up staying with him. I would recommend both his place and Casa Tuanis !

Great place to stay!!

Michaele is a kind and caring man. He picked me up by car from my boat ride, on the main beach of Bahia Drake without it being planned! The place was simple but charming, and the nights spent in it to the rhythm of the sound of the waves were really magical. Sublime viewpoint a few meters above the accommodation, authentic warmthy place, I recommend it!! 🤗🙏

Victor was an awesome host and his place and surrounding property is very peaceful loved that feeling while there. lots of sounds from nature it was awesome. Highly recommend it

This is a lovely place. The views from the cabins are beautiful, and you can hear the sounds of the sea and the jungle at night. The staff are friendly, and Michaele is a helpful host who provided us with useful tips. . For those who enjoy being close to nature, this spot is a good choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Michaele's place. He was helpful (sorted out 2 great tours and picked us up from the boat when we arrived) and always responded quickly to requests. Plus his place is in a great position.

We loved staying at Flor’s place. It is very rustic and IN THE JUNGLE which makes it a one of a kind experience. We had a ton of privacy and saw macaws, toucans, and an otter! The beach was lovely as was lazing by the pool. Flor and Efrain were very kind and helpful.
