Holiday rentals in Goodland

We had a great time at Jacqueline's place. The place is comfortable and peaceful at a great location near the sea. There garden is nice with shade from the trees and we enjoyed the ocean view from the sofa. Very friendly and helpful host. It is recommended to have a rental car to move around, because the place is not close to the popular beaches, supermarkets and markets. Overall it is a great place to stay!

By far the best experience I’ve had with booking and getting into the space with Airbnb , it’s a cute spot perfect for two and even better if you’re by yourself. Paul is a champ , made me feel right at home , instructions were clear and he is a proactive communicator. Felt like I was texting my friend who left me the keys to his vacation home in Barbados lol. Would recommend having a rental if you’re staying by yourself , the walk from the Oistins strip back to the spot is perfect if you’re with someone but wouldn’t recommend doing it alone, although I did and didn’t have any issues it would be wise to leave and explore earlier in the day if you decide to do so on foot. Beautiful area , the locals are friendly and the fish market has some great options. I never had to use the ac unit once , the constant winds coming off the ocean coupled with the windows open and fans running?? Had me asleep in minutes 👌🏾, it truly made the space that much more comfortable. Great overall experience.

Richard’s place was very nice. He also responded very quickly and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. The place was as described. The only thing was it’s no air conditioning in the main area and in one of the bedrooms. Luckily the breeze from the ocean was amazing. You can open the doors on the balcony to let the air flow and there weren’t any flies, bugs or mosquitoes that flew in which was great! The one room that didn’t have an air conditioning did have a ceiling fan and a portable fan. The third room has 2 beds in it. Sitting on the balcony you have an ocean view but those power lines in the front of the house throws it off picture wise but that has nothing to do with Richard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The people walking by are friendly and the roosters give a nice wake up call every morning. I also got a chance to see a monkey eating the fruits off the tree. Chicken Rita’s is right across the street to grab a bite to eat and drink.

The location was perfect the drive / walk to property has a beautiful view over looking the ocean. It’s probably best to drive as you get around quicker but if you love nature honestly you wont mind the walk. But I definitely enjoyed my stay would do it again.

where do I even start, Staying at Seawinds Apartments was literally the highlight of my trip to Barbados. The place was super clean, cozy, and right by the beach — but what really made it amazing were the hosts, Lauren and Roy. They were SO nice and welcoming, like honestly some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. It didn’t feel like I was just renting a place — it felt like I was staying with family. They made sure I had everything I needed, gave me awesome local tips (like where to get the best food and how to get around), and just made me feel super comfortable the whole time. The vibe at Seawinds is chill and peaceful, and waking up to the sound of the ocean every day was unreal. I never wanted to leave. If you’re coming to Barbados, trust me — this is the spot. I already miss it so much and can’t wait to come back soon🩵

Had a very nice stress free holiday thanks to Kerin and her accommodation. A very attentive host always checking in to make sure everything was ok. A very well appointed apartment which had everything I needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again in the future.

My stay at Sonia's place was nothing short of being amazing. It was my first time in Barbados and staying at an Airbnb, but it won't be my last and Sonia set the bar extremely high for Airbnb hosts moving forward. Staying in Barbados at Sonia's place made me feel at home. Sonia is an extremely great host that isn't afraid to recommend the great things there are to do in Barbados. I really felt like I had a mother's love on vacation in Barbados. The place is exactly as is described with no room for disappointment. I would definitely recommend Sonia's place to anyone looking for an affordable, neat and comfortable place to stay while visiting Barbados. Be sure to visit Pat's place on Oistins main road for some great local Bajan food which is nearby and Sonia's recommendation for some amazing food! Overall, I just want to say this to anyone thinking about visiting Barbados, DO IT. To anyone considering Sonia's place, DO IT. She is a welcoming spirit. We love you, Sonia!
