The old fortress of beautiful Gorinchem is a wonderful place to stay overnight. You have the ground floor with bedroom and bathroom, all to yourself, with a private entrance. I live upstairs myself. From the apartment, you can walk into the city for a bite or a drink. You can also step ashore for a tour of the fortress and it is a nice starting point for all kinds of activities in the region.
