The location we offer the guests is a traditional Romanian household, neo-Romanian style, specific to the northern area of ​​Oltenia and built by POTECARI, who once guarded the border with Transylvania, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The household is located on the Road under the mountain, the northernmost road in Oltenia and with access to Transalpina, the highest road in Romania and one of the highest and most picturesque paved roads in Europe.

The cottage is located close to the center of Polovragi commune, Gorj, in a very quiet area, without neighbors, located about 2 km from Oltetul Gorge and Polovragi Monastery. The property has an area of 5200 sqm, has a gazebo, barbecue place, fireplace, free wi-fi, parking, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and playground for children. Being a modest holiday home, it has no bathroom in the room. It is rented exclusively.
