I had a wonderful stay at the houseboat! It’s central so the location is perfect, and the boat was tidy and very clean. Karina was very friendly and proactive, and she also sent me some good recommendations!

We had an amazing stay on the boat! Our group of eight friends found everything clean and well-maintained. The two showers were a big plus, and we loved the common area for hanging out. The Bluetooth speaker was a great touch too!

Great unique canal boat stay in the heart of Amsterdam. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The boat was bright and light. Walkable to everything very centrally located. No street traffic so that was nice. Stayed here w my family of two adults and two teens. Plenty of space. Enjoyed our stay in the boat. Thank you.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Amsterdam! It is larger than it looks in the photos, with many nice artistic decorations and advantages (you can watch a drawbridge go up and down from the deck). All the comforts of home plus a very friendly, gracious host. Convenient to the bus, tram, and a nice supermarket-- very easy to get to the attractions in the city, but you also can walk to a pretty small village and bike in the countryside. Note that this is not a good place to stay if you have mobility issues (you have to climb over other boats with your suitcase to get here) or if you really hate spiders (there are a bunch outside, a few inside. My arachnophobic husband was fine, but you will see spiderwebs.) I strongly recommend this place! I always wanted to stay on a boat and it turns out this is a common fantasy... All of your friends will be jealous.

Super gracious host. Cozy room. Very clean. The unexpected wildlife (baby swans) was a definite plus!

I loved my stay at Egbert’s place! The room on the boat was cozy and unique, and the peaceful river setting made it even more special. Egbert was super helpful and kind. It’s also just a short walk to bus 43, which takes you straight into Amsterdam city center. Highly recommend!

Magical boat near a wonderful beach and easy to get into Amsterdam!

At first we were a little reluctant because the boat is really right in front of the restaurant, like on a silver platter, but it was great. It's perfect for a few relaxing days away. Like a little camping trip on the water. The heat in the boat was bearable.

Can highly recommend staying here. So nice to return to after a busy day sightseeing in Amsterdam. Near bus stop, 10 mins walk away, takes you straight to Amsterdam Central station. Get off at bus stop before station if you do not need metro, we walked everywhere. We used credit card each for bus, swipe on and then swipe as you get off, about 7 euro return. The Johanna is just a joy to be on, comfortable and clean with stunning views. Everything that you need and more is supplied. Sandra and her partner are a joy to deal with, checking in with us to ensure all was ok.

Marcel was a great host and was easy to communicate with. The Airbnb was fantastic and provided us with everything we needed.

Nice host, nice space. Bedrooms are of course small. Beds are good. No dishwasher. We didn't mind but good to know. Beautiful berth.

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever booked or stayed at. Gerben and Albert were excellent hosts and were so kind and friendly! The houseboat looked even more extravagant than in the photos which I didn’t think was possible! I would 100% book again and cannot wait to be back in Amsterdam to stay here. Also the location was perfect, within the heart of Amsterdam with so many shops, restaurants, and bars nearby.

This was a fun place to stay. There are 2 transit stops within a 5 minute walk. It was a few minutes walk from the metro station and super easy to find. Koko was responsive and made sure to communicate before check in so it was a breeze.

This Airbnb is perfect! Stevin and Jol are very friendly. They gave us lots of local recommendations and things to do around Amsterdam. Cycling in Amsterdam is pretty intimidating but Stevin and Jol were sure to give us safety tips and to adjust the bikes to make sure they were suitable for our heights. The boathouse is incredible. It was a good experience to live in a boathouse and observe how many other locals are living in their own as well. Will definitely recommend!

We spent a few days in this accommodation and had a really great time. The property was clean, welcoming and equipped with everything you need. The location is convenient, quiet, but close to the main points of interest. Very kind host, helpful and always ready to give us useful advice. An experience that we absolutely recommend, we would gladly come back!

Had a great stay! The ship is equipped with every comfort. Despite the fact that the beds look cramped, everyone slept wonderfully and it was very cozy. Next time we will hopefully have better weather, then we can enjoy the deck more. Thank you Xandra and Marco!
