Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Grant County

This was a great place to stay. We were hunting elk, leaving early in the morning and returning late in the evening. For us to be able to make our own meals, wash clothes, and relax in the quiet was perfect. Hope to get this place again.

The Cowboy Cottages house was lovely. It has a spacious homey feel. The kitchen had a full set of pans with matching lids. We used the house’s wood stove to keep it nice and warm. Randall was quick to answer my question before we visited. Definitely would stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

David's listing was a very clean, un- cluttered, and fresh. Location was amazing if you want to explore the John Day units. Hiking abounds. 9 miles down the county road we stayed on, is beautiful black canyon. An hour drive and enjoy the strawberry wilderness. Our stay met and checked all the boxes.

We have stayed at Jim's place twice now. And both times the house worked great for us. It was clean and great location. Jim was helpful, and we plan to stay again on our next visit.

A nice restful place. The grandkids enjoyed our paddle boat. We saw lots of fish.

I got in late and left early both nights, but I got some time to enjoy the peace and quiet. I'd stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the house in Kimberly. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well-stocked with essentials, there was plenty of space to spread out, quiet, and the view was gorgeous. Great for our party of 7 to enjoy a few days seeing the sights in the area. The host was helpful & responsive when the orchard/farm dog showed up and was asking to come inside. :-) Downside: the camera on the back deck felt intrusive. It directly overlooks the outside table on the deck/entire deck and we weren't comfortable to spend much time out there knowing it was recording our every move and conversation. The other cameras are more appropriately out of the way (coming/going) and our suggestions was that this camera could be moved to still watch the entrance to the deck while also giving guests a bit more privacy. Overall a great stay, but hope they consider moving the deck camera.

This home is the perfect oasis in Prairie City, which is a sweet town. The house is full of fun decorative elements and lots of personality. It's also clean, well-equipped, and cozy. We'd definitely stay here again.

Staying at a working farm was truly a great time. Just far enough from town to be peaceful without feeling too isolated.

What a nice little cabin to stay in. At the end of the road is an accurate statement for this spot! Theres not a soul in site, what a great spot to unplug! Beautiful views.

This place continues to charm us time after time. If you need a hit of Eastern Oregon, this is a great place to get it. The home is nicely appointed, the kitchen well stocked to cook, and the deck is just what the doctor ordered. I’ll bet the sun coming up over that butte has been captured in thousands of photos by now. And if you’re lucky enough to get a full moon rising you won’t forget it.

We enjoyed our stay at there very edge of Prairie City. The room is described as "the little room" and it is. About a 20-minute walk takes one up to the main road where there are a couple of eateries, shops, and a coffee shop. This stay met our needs and expectations.

Perfect get away from it all place. Very private location with great views. Super comfortable living and sleeping spaces. Lots of animal friends dropping by almost daily. Very much enjoyed our time there and would absolutely love to stay again ❤️

Lovely little apartment a few steps from the John Day river. Is 1/2 of duplex and occupant on the other side was quiet and invisible. Mattress was great and everything was clean and new. We were in town for two days and originally booked a hotel. This place was roomier then a hotel room and much less expensive.

This is the second time we had the Pleasure of Staying at the Rental. The house is perfect and very clean. The kitchen has everything to cook with. I enjoy the front porch and we are looking forward to our May 2026 Trip! Thank you Cynthia and Crew for another Fantastic stay!!

Well kept, comfortable well appointed home! Relaxing and beautiful backyard. It was so nice and would like to go back in future!!

Christine was prompt and friendly from booking to check out. We wanted to book in advance and she accomodated us. We had flexible check in and we were actually able to get in a little early. The house was clean and exactly what we needed/wanted. We had a large group and it fit us. It was a wonderful celebratory trip we will talk about for years to come. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your slice of heaven.

Just love this stay! We have been back a couple times now as it is just the perfect glamping situation for us! Kerri and her family are wonderful and I 10/10 recommend the weekend breakfast!
