It is within walking distance of Esker Monastery and woodlands and is a very peaceful space to come to. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the the living area. Children are welcome to use the trampoline and anything else in the garden.

The Retreat

Our retreat at the log cabin is the ideal setting for someone who wants to escape and find peace and quiet to read, meditate, cycle or walk. We are centrally located being only 45mins from Galway city and Athlone town and closer again to the heritage towns of Tuam and Roscommon. We are a small holding with a polytunnel, hens and bees. We aspire to live an organic life as much as possible, growing and saving our own vegetables and fruit.
