The Shug Shack is a Illinois Central Railroad section house built in 1905. Loving restored to capture the feel of an old railroad depot it is on an ACTIVE P&L railroad route, very close to house PLEASE BE AWARE! Many of the original features and materials have been reused while being updated with modern upscale amenities. Well-stocked kitchen & gas fireplace. Has one master bedroom & one bath with two oversize leather chairs that make twin beds. Cozy with lots of charm, it feels like home!

My Blessing 1, at Rough River Lake Area!

Countryside, not fancy, everything you need in a clean place at a low price. Bring your boat. The lake is 10 minutes away, fishing, hunting or swimming, in the area. Blue Oval 45 minutes away, 60 minutes to Mammoth Cave National Park. Our address is 14405 South Hwy 259, Apt. 1, Leitchfield, KY 42754 Leitchfield is at 15 minutes, Etown 45 minutes. If you want city life and entertainment, this place is not for you. Few restaurants in the area. Pets allowed if you follow rules. Pets pay a fee.

We’re open just in time for the nice spring weather. Enjoy perfect bonfire weather with free firewood. Morel mushroom will be up before you know it. Come enjoy All the song birds and the peaceful area secluded on the lake with water access by walking trail, great for kayakers with easy launch area. Kayak rentals are also available. Perfect for spring fishing with plenty of room to park your boat. Situated on 20 acres backed up to the redline. With creeks and waterfalls a few steps away.

Our beautiful custom waterfront cabin is a perfect getaway for couples and small families. We are located on Mercer Creek Cove. The cabin is very relaxing and private. There is a boat ramp in the subdivision for your use. All bedding and bath towels are included. Kitchen is fully equipped, direct tv on 3 large flat screen TVs. Gas grill we provide the propane, custom built in bonfire pit just steps from the water. Hot tub that overlooks the Cove, private outdoor shower. We now have WIFI!

Small house with a beautiful wrap around deck overseeing a big pond. Small, simple, and set up for a relaxing get away with the family! The entire house is accessible for a wheelchair including the wrap around deck. Fishing and boating is also with in 10 minutes away at the Rough River Dam State Park. Wifi is fast if you have work to get done, also a small work desk is in the main bedroom. A TV and two big recliners is set up in the living room for lounging.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was nice and clean, new appliances, comfortable beds, and plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking items, coffee maker, etc. There were helpful things like a high chair and baby safety items. Thank you for the very comfortable accommodations!!

We loved this home and its surroundings so much. We felt right at home and it was so clean and had everything we needed. It was hard to leave. We have stayed at a lot of airbnbs and this is one of our absolute favorites. Such a nice entrance to the home and beautiful land. Thank you for making your home so beautiful and welcoming!! We will book again when back in the area.

Marissa was so responsive… and we were placed in the middle of Bluegrass country was simply amazing! I spent two days at Mammoth Caves National Park, and one day at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, jamming with other musicians, and one day at the Bill Monroe museum and homeplace in Rosine, Kentucky… It was an amazing! adventure!

they had everything we needed and more. they had snacks in the pantry for my boys to enjoy. the arcade room was a huge hit, which left me time to enjoy some quiet in the hot tub with nothing but the birds chirping in the background. I wish we would have stayed longer just to enjoy the house more. it's like a 40 minute drive to multiple caves and attractions if you're into all of that, it's also perfect for just a quiet getaway.
