Cabin holiday rentals in Great Australian Bight

This place truly deserves more stars than Airbnb allows! We stayed at Kestrel Cottage and since the moment we arrived, we felt right at home — the cottage was spotless, and Gary and Maria had kindly left us fresh eggs and homemade bread, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Waking up to views of Mount Manyat and watching kangaroos in the morning was simply magical. It’s hard to put into words the peaceful, beautiful energy of this place. Gary was an incredibly kind and attentive host — thank you so much for everything! I can’t recommend this spot enough.

A beautiful getaway location away from the hustle and bustle but still close to anything you may need. The Tin Tabernacle was a great place to relax and recoup with my husband. We would definitely recommend it. p.s. bring some slippers though, the floor gets a touch cold on the toes in cooler months

We love getting away a few times a year. Tim & Leannes place is perfect and exactly how we like relax and unwind. The surroundings are soo relaxing and theres evetything you can ask for all in one place. The welcome pack was a perfect surprise too Weve already booked for next year!! One of the most beautiful places to stay at. The cabin makes you feel right at home and invokes a sweet sense of nostalgia. The friendly creatures that come to greet you upon arrival was such a huge plus point. Definitely would come again

This is a beautiful home in the woods which was just what we needed for a break. It’s a fabulous property in an amazing location that is both in the middle of the forest but also 5 minutes from town and the beach. If you love the south coast like I do there’s nowhere better you could stay to experience it. 45 mins to Albany, 15 mins to Greens Pool, 2 minutes to the Bibbulmun - and an incredible hot top with eucalyptus infused water to wash it all off in. Beautifully designed house, all the amenities. Just an incredibly relaxing place to get away to the bush. Thanks Paul - I’ll be back

These humble little chalets are cosy and have character, they’re in a good location close to town as well as Ocean and Lights beaches.

we had a lovely stay. Tania and Cameron were great hosts and were very accommodating. the cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. we loved the cabin location, very peaceful and secluded with a great view. Great 4WD tracks that cater for all levels and had a lot of fun. Will be back to camp with kids near the river - campsites look great and spacious.

Great farm stay place for family with young kids. Tiarnie was very responsive and kind. She even brought the kids to meet and feed the animals. Such a wonderful experience!

The place is beautiful! Incredibly peaceful and private. We stayed for 2 nights, and changed our plans so we spent more time at the cabin rather than driving around the island. Sitting on the deck with a coffee first thing watching the sunrise and then reading my book, with the only sound the crashing of waves was a wonderful way to spend a weekend. The place is simple with everything you need and very clean. Loved that we could walk along the small track to the cliff tops and watch dolphins in the water. Will definitely come back to stay!

The welcome to Tea Tree was absolutely wonderful! It’s a cosy and welcoming space with a super comfortable sitting space and bed! Jordan has got a real eye for detail and Tea Tree was immaculate - we felt right at home - we had a really special couple of nights here. Highly recommend 5+ ⭐️💫

we loved our stay, the hosts are very friendly and inviting. it's a great little cottage in the middle of a bush camping ground which made for fun times, especially for the little ones getting in touch with nature

We adored our stay at Melaleuca. It was probably one of my best airbnb experiences ever! The private and stunning location is so special. The home has a feeling of history and coziness. We had such a wonderful experience at Galloway Spring Farm. We were awed by the beautiful set up of the room, complete with lots of books to read and games for the family. The atmosphere was very peaceful and there is a great view of the sun rise and sunset over the hills. We can also have a clear view of the beautiful night sky of the moon and stars. Ms Raquel is an amazing host! She is friendly and proactive, providing all the information and local recommendations before we are there. She also showed us around their farm and the kids had a great time interacting and feeding the farm animals. I would highly recommend staying here for a city getaway to peaceful farmstay. P.S. Their tomato sauce is so delicious! Be sure to try them if you stay there.

My partner, toddler and I stayed over easter and absolutely loved Parrot’s rest. A simple and uncomplicated space with lovely, thoughtful touches throughout. Olivia kindly organised a portacot and highchair for us and was very helpful via message. We would love to come back.

Absolutely amazing place! Definitely recommend to stay, relax, eat delicious Thai food and recharge! Accommodation was very clean, feels like at home but with incredible view in addition!

Really enjoyed this cabin on KI! Though our itinerary didn’t allow as much time as we would have liked to spend here, it was the perfect place to take in the views and watch the wildlife. Jenny’s home was as described and she was very responsive leading up to and throughout our stay!

We loved our stay at the Black Shed Retreat. The accommodation was beautiful and spacious, with a great view over the vines.

We had a lovely stay at Wren Cottage. Mik is a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was perfect and had everything we could possibly need! We hope to visit again.
