Great little hideaway within the Daintree. Thank you for having us.

This was a perfect spot on Magnetic island for us. It was away from all the busyness of the island and yet convenient enough to get anywhere on the island. The setting is absolutely beautiful in a lovely tropical garden (where we had a few wildlife visitors including wallaby and joey, possum and a myriad of wonderful tropical birds), a nice secluded pool, great patio to take all this in. Inside was well equipped with dishes, drying rack, etc. We really enjoyed this little retreat !!

We were in Cairns for a fleeting visit so needed somewhere in the city. This place was great - clean, tidy, central to everything that we needed, walking distance to the esplanade and quiet at night. We checked in after hours and instructions were easy to follow and within minutes we had keys are were in the apartment. Would definitely consider this place again if in Cairns for a longer stay without a car.

A beautiful secluded stay, it is so good to be off grid with no phone service or internet, just some board games, movies and a good book. Everything you need to cook and prepare food with a BBQ. Plenty of wild life and walks around the property as well. Would absolutely stay again!

This was the second time we stayed at The Beach Club because we loved it sooo much. Had an amazing, relaxing time and can't wait for stay number 3. I would highly recommend this property!

A 2 for 1 review. Me: Ocean was too noisy, had trouble sleeping. Closes door. My partner: Ocean noise was great, best sleep I have had in ages. Opens door again. Both, view was beautiful, watch ferries go back and forth in distance. The doof doof stopped at midnight and was mostly masked by Ocean sounds. The odd backpacker decided to have a middle of the night phone convo outside our room on speaker phone but moved on quick when asked. Cabin was modest, private, odd things like switches behind doors, but for price, considering it is a backpackers, and location it was a fantastic experience. Staff very friendly too.

Perfect dog friendly stay for our one night in Emerald. Place had everything we needed including a nice secure grassed area for our dog. Happily stay again.

Very central to everything we needed, lovely hosts, our unit was spotless, lots of extra touches that made our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended!

It was very clean, spacious, and pleasant. I was able to walk to the lagoon in 20 minutes, and there was a grocery store 15 minutes away, so it was good to buy food. I was embarrassed because the shower booth was open unexpectedly, and every time I showered, the shower room became a sea of water, but I think it's good to have a bathtub to use a bath bomb. Soundproofing is not bad, but the soundproofing of the bathroom and the outside is not at all, so you can hear the sound of shouting outside all night.

Amazing stay! So close to everything and it was beautiful. Bed was comfy and we were provided with more than enough towels. Easy check in and check out. If we ever visit Palm Cove again, we will be back!

We had a great time. We are very happy about the quality of room and really enjoyed the view. The location is convenient. There is stunning sunrise view from the complex at the end and you can see rock wallabies as well.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. The photos can’t do justice to the beautiful pool, outdoor living areas, and shared living room. Sue and tony are such wonderful and engaging hosts. They toured us about their extensive outdoor forested area, talked local plants with us and gave us inside insights into dining and hiking spots. Thanks so much !

this is a hostel! it's a great place to stay if you like hostels. we (family is 5 with small kids) stayed here and loved it. lots of fun stuff for the kids to do. Charlie and Arlo are great. Luke, the official host, is perfect--laid back and very helpful. would stay here again in a heartbeat!
