The house dates back to 1920 and has been fully renovated in 2014 with custom made design executed by local materials and artisans. The recently renovated apartment (February 2017) offers a unique view of the lake from the balcony and the living room. It is located at the most beautiful and well-known point of Ioannina, next to the walls of the castle and a few steps from the pier where the boats departs to the island. All the monuments and museums of the city are within a 10-minute walk. There are cafes and restaurants in the area. A little further away are the lively pedestrian streets of the old market.

The property is suitable for families such as it is literally above the sea so that children can play all day at the beach and parents can relax at one of the three seaside taverns or the large balcony of the house from which there is a full view of the bay beach. Megalo Livadi is 15 km away from the port (Livadi) and 13 km from the city (Chora).
