Very responsive hosts. Instructions to get in were clear. Home is stacked with everything you could need and more with labeled drawers and closets. Puzzles, games, toiletries, baggies, storage containers, laundry options, every kitchen appliance needed for food and drink, many towels and linens. Newer seeming couches in main room were comfy. While it felt like fall during our visit, many options for water activities available. Pup enjoyed swimming and helping us fish off the pier. Nearby corner store gas station has many grocery options, deli, and everything you likely need for fishing, cocktails, and even had a birthday cake. Definitely worth the drive to explore Goodman County Park/Story Falls. Peaceful lake property. Definitely would consider booking again!

Dan & Beth said they wanted us to feel at home and we certainly did! We had 7 adults in our group & we talked about the house & cost to stay there. We all agreed it was absolutely worth every cent. Dan couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we reached out with a question. Being right on the beach was magical. Fires at night with a plentiful supply of dry wood was a nice surprise! Anything you could possibly think of was at our disposal! Even the refrigerator was pristine, which in my experience, doesn’t always happen in a rental. We will miss Sandvik house!

Such a beautiful cabin on a protected bay of Lake Michigan but still see enough to feel the big water and hear the waves crashing. Awesome fire place great place to sit and read and relax by the fire. Lots to do nearby, if you want to leave. The hosts are excellent and welcoming. Would love to go back! Pet friendly is a plus.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was stunning! We wished for better weather to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boats, but that was nothing that could’ve been controlled. We did enjoy a fire in the pit. The lake view was beautiful. Jake was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you!

This is a cute little house right on Lake Michigan. It was perfect for our girls weekend with plenty of room inside and outside for our group to stay together. It was a beautiful spot for coffee and sunrises by the lake in the morning and wine and sunsets in the evening. Rick was a great host. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is beyond great! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I had never been to Door County before and wanted a place that was smaller, but had enough things to do by it. It has amazing views, the sunsets were beautiful. We drove to Sister Bay to grab food and such, but there are great places that are walkable from here! I will say the road noise is a bit loud in the day time, but other than that it was amazing. I will recommend this place over and over again to people!

Denise and Don have created a beautiful place for guests to feel both on vacation but right at home. This is our second stay and won't be our last. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable, stylish and super clean with everything you might need. The views from every window are stunning. There are endless activities of which you can take part (hot tub, billiards, ping pong, pickle ball, paddleboarding, kayaking, sunbathing, biking or walking the Betsie Trail...and that's just right outside your door). Denise made delicious breakfasts for us a couple mornings which was a wonderful treat. Riding on Don's pontoon boat is always a highlight and we loved visiting with both Denise and Don and their furbabies. Looking forward to our next visit!!

A unique, wonderful experience to stay in a historic cottage just steps away from the serene water. The upstairs sleeping quarters was perfect for our five children. The use of the pool/hot tub was an awesome way to accent our wonderful Door County excursion. Both Peggy and Jeff were kind and responsive to any questions we had about the area or our accommodations. Amazing hosts and property.

Overall, excellent choice for us for the first leg of our golf trip at Arcadia Bluffs.

Tony’s place was absolutely perfect for our family! We especially loved the deck right next to the water—it was the most peaceful spot to relax . The hot tub and pool were big hits too, and the location couldn’t have been better for our fishing charter. Tony was a fantastic host—super nice and flexible, which made everything easy. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back!

As always the place is beautiful , clean and well managed. Ben is communicative and friendly as well as the staff that help out. If you’re looking for a place close to the beach with easy access to food, parks and the outdoors this is the place.

Great place in the heart of Elkhart Lake. Close to restaurants and an easy drive to Road America.

In our experience, it's always rare to find a place that lives up to the hype of the description, however in this case, The Nest exceeded the already great expectations as described. Sure, the photos do the best they can to capture the view that is afforded to guests, but walking into the living room and seeing the view is breathtaking. You'll quickly find yourself trying to decide between taking the time to explore the town of Frankfort (which is great), or spending all your time on the balcony taking in the views. It truly was a welcoming accommodation, and we felt at home immediately. Everything you need is available, and we were very surprised by how large the bedroom was. it was our first time to Northern Michigan, and we cannot wait to return. Charlie and Suzy's location will be the first place we check for availability when we do!

Our family vacation was absolutely what we wanted on Washington Island, and especially at Essa's home! We wanted a quiet, relaxing place, and we definitely got that. We seriously felt like we were on a secluded island....didn't see one person until we drove to the other side of the island! If you are looking for a place to get away from the everyday hustle of life, Essa's place is where it's at. We got up in the mornings and had coffee and read on the 4 season's porch, sat on the beach, played games, watched movies, and had bonfires in the evening. The only bad thing....the week went to quickly!!!!

Booked this cabin for a weekend getaway to celebrate my mother's birthday. The area was absolutely beautiful with so many things to do. Definitely would come back again!

If you are ever in the Manistique are, do not hesitate to book Travis’s place! This was our first trip to the UP, and wow, what a perfect place to stay! The most relaxing house and location I have ever stayed, this property - right on Lake Michigan - was perfect!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this super cozy, extremely clean home where we had everything we needed. The view and sunsets were amazing, and we enjoyed the backyard even though the weather was a little chilly. Check in was easy and Natasha was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's rustic cabin for our babymoon! It was exactly what we were looking for - peaceful, private, rustic charm, right on the beach. We loved walking on the beach with our morning coffee, making a cozy fire in the fireplace each night, and being just a short drive away from all the wonderful towns around Door County. Other than some dead bugs (rather they be dead than buzzing about!) the place was clean, homey, and had everything we needed. Nice hot water for showers, a cozy bed, and stocked kitchen. Emily was so easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had right away. We would stay again in a heartbeat - you just can't beat being steps away from Lake Michigan.

Booked a last minute stay with 5 kids and 2 adults, had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the beautiful beach, loved the space and the kitchen was stocked with plates and utensils, pots/pans etc.. made great breakfast lunches and dinner. Made sure to use the charcoal grill. Having the PlayStation and Xbox was an extra bonus on the evenings it was a little cooler. We loved having the fire pit to make S'mores with the kids and watch the sunset by the beach while the kids played in the sand. Thomas was super good at communicating and answering any questions, 10/10 would definitely stay again!

Exactly the little getaway my pups and I needed. Everything was lovely. This was the first time during an airbnb stay I found myself checking the calendar during the stay to check future availability. Can't wait to go back!
