House holiday rentals in Greenwood Lake

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

The home was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. It was in every way it was described and did not disappoint. The community was beautiful and makes you feel safe. My sister and I had an amazing time. We had so many plans to do outdoor activities and it rained all weekend but this house was perfect for a much needed staying in weekend. Perfect home and perfect weekend!

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

We liked how easy it was to punch the code in to get into the home. Once in the home, it was really nice to see the welcome placard. We enjoyed access to robes, skincare, slippers, towels, etc. The game room was loads of fun. The indoor and outdoor ping pong tables were fun. We enjoyed billiards, arcade games and table games. The icing on the cake were the hot tub, the four mode shower and bidet. The Smart Home technology took a little getting used to, but it was very convenient once we did. We love the quick response time whenever we had a question or concern. This place allowed for a rejuvenating relaxing atmosphere and we are so glad that we chose “The Good Vibes” home for our debut AirBNB experience. Thanks again for hosting us in your charming abode!

Heidi's home was immediately inviting and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. She was incredibly flexible and accommodated an early check-in and change to our booking. The home and property were incredible! Our pup loved running around the fully-fenced yard, and we appreciated the dog bowls and bed for him as well. Heidi provided wonderful recommendations and was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for my family of four and dog at this property on a beautiful part of the lake! Michael was super responsive at all times. House had everything we needed. Overall, a lovely home with a gorgeous view. Loved kayaking on the lake. At times no one else was there! Very peaceful!

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

We had an unforgettable stay at this magical cabin! Izzy and Joe are amazing hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and since late checking was requested by them , they kindly offered a late checkout, which we truly appreciated and made our departure more relaxed. The cabin itself is even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom and sunroom with lake views quickly became our favorite cozy spots. The private island with its dreamy daybed swing and breathtaking lake views felt like a hidden paradise, and our dog loved roaming leash-free on the island. Everything in the cabin is intuitively organized, with smart controls for lighting, shades, and TV—managed via an iPad that also contains a well-designed digital guide. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one stands out in every way. We’re already planning to return and make this special place an annual tradition

We had amazing stay at the cabin! Location is perfect: views of the lake are gorgeous, cabin is very private, it’s walkable to downtown, and short drive to nearby attractions. Hosts made us feel at home right away. Cabin is pretty big and freshly renovated. I highly recommend to visit drowned lands brewery (10 minutes ride) and stop by at GWL ice cream shack (walkable from the cabin). We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly book again! Thank you

We stayed up here for a weekend and it was very quiet and there is stream nearby which is lovely to listen to the water falling over rocks--so incredibly peaceful. The neighbors are very close and its right off the road but you're tucked away into a little cove so it feels more nature. Great natural light and lots of windows!

This is by far the best AirBnb I have ever stayed at! Elizabeth is a fabulous host and was unbelievably attentive and accommodating. The house is beautiful on a large plot of land with plenty of nature and breathtaking sites. The house was warm, inviting, and decorated beautifully. If you need a get away from the city, this is your place. I 100% will be coming by again.

Mixing business with pleasure, we prefer to stay in an Airbnb versus hotel. Jack’s place offered us the home away from home we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable and the home was nice and clean. After a days work, we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Looking forward to the next trip.

Staying at Jo's place was an absolute pleasure. The house itself was just as described and sits in a cozy area steps from Greenwood Lake. My fiance and I spent a week there and honestly felt as if it could be our second home. There was plenty to do at the lake where we swam, paddle boarded, and kayaked all around the beautiful water. Jo made sure that life jackets were provided for us and that they were the appropriate size which was incredibly thoughtful. She also gave us lots of recommendations for local places to eat and to see which was also very nice. Communication with her was top notch and was always comfortable. We will absolutely consider coming back to her beautiful home.

From booking through check out, Maureen was pleasant, communicated promptly and clearly, and had the house perfectly dialed in to accommodate our family. The house is situated on a large, beautiful lakefront lot with spectacular views, and outfitted for families and friends to have an amazingly fun experience, regardless of weather or time of year. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, or a lively time with friends, this place will not disappoint!

Jay was a great host and the property was wonderful. My group and I do a trip to renn fair every year and would love to come back!

A beautiful home on a beautiful piece of land. A river runs through this property and you can hear it flowing all day. The house is beautiful and full of unique pieces. It feels like you’re staying at a friend’s house, not just an airbnb. We will stay here again!

We’ve been going to Greenwood Lake for many years but this was our first time with kids and it was the perfect home for two couples and three kids. They loved the slide and hammock and all the space to run around outside as well as the game room upstairs. We took the boat out on the lake during the day and one day a family of swans even came up to the dock. It was so special! Dana had everything we needed plus things we hadn’t even thought to bring (like extra long skewers to roast marshmallows for s’mores in the fire pit!) It was a beautiful backdrop for a lovely weekend and we wished we could have stayed longer. Overall fantastic and above and beyond!

We had a great stay in the house. The proximity to NYC is wonderful and there are many great local spots nearby. The house itself is very accommodating, charming, and the yard is unbeatable. I'm sure during summer it's fantastic.

We had a wonderful holiday weekend at the lake house. The views and outdoor space are breathtaking. It is so wonderful for adults and kids. The house looks just like the photos, it was comfortable and clean. Owners are responsive, kind and always gave us suggestions on what to do each day in the area. We highly recommended staying here and would gladly stay again!

I am in two minds about what to write in this review. On one hand, this property is truly mind blowing. It has been designed beautifully indoors and there is so much attention to detail. And then, the view…I’ve traveled a lot and the view blew my mind. On the other hand, I’m not sure I want too many other people to know about this gem..because I want to come back. And I am hoping this review doesn’t make that more difficult.

The home was pristine and beautifully designed, feeling like a brand new home. Everything was purposely placed to have exactly what you would think you’d need. The host is extremely friendly and super responsive. The views of the lake are awesome. The bedrooms are huge and the beds and bedding are extremely cozy (we all slept like babies). The duel decks are a really cool set up with the hot tub on the bottom such a cool vibe with really nice ceiling lights hanging. We came for a work escape as a team, and this was a great stay for us. The bedrooms upstairs also had their own little balconies, which is great to enjoy a morning cup of coffee before getting our day started. They also had all the amenities in the kitchen you could ever need.

My husband and I were blown away by the beauty and thought that was put into this private destination. The moment you step on property, the freshness of the air and sounds of the creek are immediately calming. Diana was incredibly nice and very communicative before and during the entire stay. Activities: The sauna, creek, hot tub, pizza oven, grill, fire place/pits, hammocks- the amenities are amazing and unlike any other Airbnb I have ever been in before. So much that besides a quick dinner out one night (12 min away) and a nice walk around the Mountain Top Arboretum with our dog, we wanted to spend our time at the property. We called it our personal sanctuary spa!! The home: The home style is minimalistic but homey and every single item is top notch quality. There are no shortcuts- the entire place is a work of art. The bedroom and bathroom inspired me to reanalyze my own bedroom style. Thank you for upping the Airbnb game!! Can’t wait to come back to this magical spot! ✨

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Isaac & Stef were very friendly and responsive hosts and helped answer any questions we had. The house is comfortable with plenty of windows and situated so that it is looking out over the lake. The views and hot tub were a highlight. Would stay again!
