We welcome you in a 3-star 80 m2 duplex apartment located in a quiet area facing the mountain (the Rhune), a 2-minute walk from Spain, 15 minutes from Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, 20 minutes from Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Pleasant Gîte in Ascain near St-Jean-de-Luz

A 17th century house, the Altxua house (Aulnaie in Basque) was renovated in 2006 and offers an independent upstairs apartment with its private terrace (with barbecue). It is a short walk from the village of Ascain and all shops (800 m), 10 minutes from the sea and its beaches, golf courses and is the starting point for many hiking trails including the one leading to the Rhune. In summary: a quiet, relaxing place but close to all the points of interest of the Basque Country.

The duplex accommodation with a private garden of 30 m² is an outbuilding attached to the guest house. Easy street parking.

The rental is located on our family farm, in a quiet area on the heights of Espelette, 5 km from the village. We are lucky to be away from the summer crowds, surrounded by our sheep, horses, dogs and Espelette peppers! The farm is a good starting point for easy or longer walks in the surrounding mountains that will offer you beautiful views of the Basque coast.
