Gruene's Yellow Haus is over 2,100 sq ft. and sleeps 10 guests very comfortably. The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. Master suite has a king size bed, luxurious master bath with separate shower and claw foot tub. Bedroom 2 has two double beds. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. Bedroom 4 has two twin beds.  The main house has an open living room space with dining table and full updated kitchen. Covered front porch and back porch. Patio in the back has seating, bbq pit and fire pit area.

This is the front unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. This property is right downtown - restaurants and bars are walking distance from the house. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In.
