I had a lovely stay at Vagar that truly exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the Shelter, which was tucked away and wonderfully secluded—it felt like a peaceful escape into nature. At the same time, it had every modern convenience, and I felt completely supported and connected to the main house whenever I needed anything, whether it was food or other requests. The balance of privacy and attentive care made it the perfect getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, restorative retreat in Portugal.

A dream!! Everything perfect!!! Better than the photos, it had everything we needed, equipped kitchen, bathroom with plenty of towel, extra bedding. We arrived and were very welcome by Giovanna, very friendly and proactive. The cabin was super clean and warm waiting for us. It was very cold in the Vale, but we were warm inside the chalet and we did not get cold in any way. We had a beautiful night's rest. There were some children's games for our little one, who was also very comfortable in their little room. We were able to do a late check out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours. We intend to return next winter and enjoy the amazing view of the Resort!

My husband and I were in Côa Honeycomb for a weekend in March 2024. We were delighted by the bungalow, very well decorated, with good amenities, a beautiful view of various olive trees and the Côa River, and above all by the hospitality of the hosts, who were very kind and considerate. We want to come back during the summer to enjoy the pool! :)

Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful outlook, sat on the verandah when we first arrived and then again for breakfast. The landscaping around the cabins, is like walking through the countryside, only pathways cleared to each cabin. Of which there are only four. Was fully booked, but we did not hear the other guests. Comfortable bed, small fridge, microwave, crockery and utensils. When we arrived there was a fresh bowl of fruit, museli , coffee, tea , orange juice. At 0830 hr the next morning fresh bread at reception. Our only problem was finding the cabin, we couldn’t get the google directions to work, but if you entered the address manually it was correct. But we managed to miss the entrance to the lane , which is a slight right past the fire station, down a narrow lane, which changed to dirt for the last 10m , where you park the car.

We were 4 people and a female dog, at work. The objective was to be isolated, in a pleasant space, almost like at home or in the office, but only ours! And that is exactly what we had, the natural division of the spaces ( 3 floors) allowed us to install a skiing in the lower room, with lots of natural light, the kitchen (no r/c) served as a leisure area for lunches and dinners and the 1st floor the rest area. It was so perfect, we'll repeat it. Pristine space conditions, good heating in all areas. The pellet salamander system heats up quite quickly. One of them was in error and did not work and in a call they gave the necessary tips, solved in minutes! The surrounding space is super pleasant. The check in and check out was as simple as in a hotel, literally! Nothing pointing! Thank Luis

It was AMAZING. The comfort is exactly as described. The only tip I give is not to follow the location by GPS, but the image they send. The GPS point can be the GNR of Manteigas, because the path that the GPS sends is very bad and without access. The city is beautiful and the accommodation is close to the center.
