Apartment holiday rentals in Gulf of Papagayo

The pictures truly reflect reality of this unit and 360 Splendor. We went at the start of June and had a wonderful time. The unit is on the 1st floor, 20 steps away from the infinity pool with an amazing view of Flamingo Beach. The balcony of the unit also has water view (of the bay behind). There is a nice gym, 2 hot tubs, and an open breakfast area, all on the top floor where you get the full 360 view which is amazing during a sunny morning. Breakfast costs $15 and you need to let them know the evening before. The unit itself is on the small side but sufficient for a family of 3 or 4 and has everything that you need to cook a meal. Getting to 360 Splendor may be a little challenging on foot if you have any physical issues. It is a fairly steep 0.5mi hill. But they have a few golf carts available to take you up and down. I am about to write 2 other 1* and 2* AirBnb reviews following our vacation, so I'm not writing reviews for the sake of it. But we really enjoyed this place!

Not much to add beyond the countless rave reviews here. The restorative and serene view and location is obviously the best quality, but the condo itself is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home as well. We loved the empty beach, the sound of the surf, and the cackle of the tropical birds. If you want crowds and traffic jams, head to Tamarindo. If you yearn for quiet and a vintage Costan Rican experience, I recommend without hesitation.

We had a great stay! Walked to the beach every evening for a sunset swim. Tara and Tyson provided towels, beach chairs, beach bag and a wagon to pull it all over. We used the pool almost every day, but heads up, during the dry season, lots of leaves fall. This DID NOT STOP us from enjoying it! Oh and lots of iguanas to watch and locate every morning. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio over looking the pool. The patio also had a great BBQ to grill up dinners. One of the little, but great things, is the lock box to keep the house key in, never worried about losing it.

Patrick provided a fantastic stay and experience. His communication was excellent. The location is ideal, and the space is comforting. I stayed for approximately two weeks, worked daily with multiple video calls each day, and never had an issue. Wifi streamed regularly at about 200 MB down. I've stayed in Pacifico frequently, and this is one of the better units. Highly recommend.

This place was a luxurious treat to stay in, and helped our family of four (15 and 9 year old) have a great homebase for our time in Costa Rica. We arrived to a perfectly stocked kitchen, ready to use. Beach towels and pickle ball equipment was all there to use. A highlight was early morning coffee and family dinners on the idyllic porch surrounded by palm trees tops, watching the birds swoop through the trees. Tammy, you have a wonderful place, so thoughtfully put together and well-curated and cared-for, and Will, you are a wonderful contact and were so helpful with all our questions. The amenities were out of this world – with the swimming pools, lounge chairs and gardens – so easy to access and enjoy from this condo. Enjoying the stars from the vantage of a night swim or hot tub was another highlight for sure! The grocery store is a very short walk away, and we cooked lots of meals at home. We absolutely LOVED this place! Very spacious for our family of 4 (two teenagers who each had their own room). The concierge service was super helpful and friendly any time we reached out to them. We booked an ATV excursion through them and there were several other great options. The place was beautifully decorated along with all the necessities you would need in the kitchen. We stopped at the Price Smart(like a Costco) after we got our rental car for groceries, so glad we did that! There is a small grocery store in Brasilito for smaller items as well. The Beach Club was a wonderful perk to have access to other pools, a gym, and the beach. Definitely plan on coming back to this place!

We went to Costa Rica for a bit of relaxation, so we chose coco beach as a calm beach option (we had enjoyed Tamarindo's activity last trip, and wanted to try a different vibe). The place was fantastic. The pools were plentiful and well kept, the grounds were beautiful, and the staff was great. If you are looking for a condo that really just feels like a resort, this place is fantastic. The property has a nice gym on site ($45/week) and a beautiful new grocery store at the entrance to the Pacifico. There are multipe restaurans walking. The beach club was great, and though there is a $35 charge daily per person, $25 is credited towards your food and drink. The air bnb was fantastically appointed, had cable tv, all the cooking tools you would need, and an infrared grill on the patio. The unit feels secluded as it sits behind some beautiful flowers, separating it from the pool deck, but is literally first floor and less than ten feet out the back to the pool. Perfect for relaxing

We LOVED Casa Besito! The condo is clean, nicely decorated, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Ray was extremely helpful with any questions we had. We also appreciated that he sent us a list of local recommendations. We tried many of them and loved them all. The condo is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, but having a rental car was helpful to explore places outside of the Flamingo Marina area. We were able to book catamaran snorkeling tour that left right out of the marina. It truly was the perfect location! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We have visited the Pacific Condominium for several years, it was our first time in apartment L306; however, from the beginning we felt very comfortable with the place and the good disposition of the Special Places staff. We made a report that the coffee maker was taking too long to make coffee and in less than 1 hour they replaced the appliance. We will definitely continue to go to this specific apartment. We highly recommend it and the value for money is indisputable, plus the kitchen is fully equipped if you like to prepare food.

John was the best host Ive ever had. He poactively sent us all the information we could ever need about the area, where to eat, and things to do. Super responsive and friendly as well.

Great tucked away place. Super close to the downtown area and the beach. Definitely a great place to stay for a party of one, two, or three.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

This place has everything you need! Spices, beach chairs and towels! Well stocked for a great stay. However there is construction going on next door that we were unaware about. Otherwise this place was great!

Awesome place to stay! Beautiful view! A short walk to the beach and some local shops - it is a steep hill, but there are stairs. Staff and other guests were extremely helpful and friendly. There was more than enough room for our family of four. When we needed assistance with an air conditioner, Floribeth was quick to respond, and had a repair person there in no time - problem fixed immediately. We were not planning on returning to Costa Rica, but after our stay, we fell in love with the area and people, and can't wait to return. Floribeth gave us precise directions, found it right away. You will not want to leave here. Thank you Floribeth!!

This apartment is outstanding and comes with every amenity you could ask for — even a dryer, which is quite rare in Costa Rica. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the ocean views from both the master bedroom and the living room are absolutely spectacular. Frances is a wonderful host — very attentive and always checking in to make sure everything is perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It truly exceeded our expectations.

Joanna was a great host. Flexible and very accommodating when we’d made a mistake with our booking. Due to the time difference communication was a little delayed but that couldn’t be helped but needs to be considered. The apartment was perfect with all the amenities you’d require. Pacifico itself is a beautiful complex with everything you need right on hand. The pacifico complex has standards and rules that are gently enforced by the local security chaps who were all lovely so it’s nothing more than gentle advice if they feel the need. Kids jumping in the pool or music a little too late were two examples we encountered. None of this took away from a lovely stay in a lovely place.

We certainly enjoyed our first visit to Playa del Coco and the Los Palmas area. Communication with our hosts was excellent. The condo itself was comfortable and as described, just right for two people. Pleasant surroundings and great, helpful, welcoming neighbours. Enjoyed the privacy of the front porch which was steps away from the pool.

Had a great stay, really awesome 1 bedroom condo, on the ground floor, with a pool literally right in front of the patio. Everything was excellent and really clean, great location, close to the main area with bars and restaurants and close to the beach. We were able to check in a bit early, and that was very much appreciated, can't wait to come stay again.

What a beautiful place!! The condo was everything like or better than the pictures . The location and the views from the deck and patio could not be closer to the ocean . The grounds and pool were very well taken care of . The white sand beach was wonderful to walk on every morning . Such a clean and safe beach . The concierge was very responsive and helped book some excursions and a golf cart for us . The workers also set up chairs with towels under an umbrella everyday. The condo itself was extremely comfortable . The kitchen was well stocked . We made dinner there 3 nights . We did walk to Coco Loco for dinner 2 nights and it is right next to the property . We preferred walking to the other places ( Margaritaville , JPs bar and grill and Hibiscus Bagel and cafe) in the day since the streets are narrow and not well lit. We did not rent a car so rented a golf cart to go to the grocery store and drive to the marina . We had a wonderful and relaxing stay .

Laurie's condo is clean and well-equipped - kitchen has lots of pots and pans, everything you need in a kitchen for cooking a meal. The pictures and description is very accurate. The pool is very cute and well maintained and the staff are very helpful. Laundry room is clean and affordable. There is a convenient store right across the street and a nice a pizza restaurant downstairs. We met and made friends with many people during our stay, and we were fortunate enough to go on a few out-trips to surrounding beaches. We had a great 2-month stay.
