Waterfront holiday rentals in Gulf of Trieste

What a beautiful space! It was so close to everything and everything so walkable. Will definitely be staying here again the next time i visit Ljubljana!!!

We stayed 2 nights in this Venice apartment. We arrived at the Rialto Bridge stop by vaporetto. The video with directions to the apartment was very helpful. The host was friendly and communicated through text. The location is great! So close to the Rialto Bridge, but tucked back into a peaceful area. We felt safe. The apartment was very clean. It was quiet at night with the windows closed. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area all worked well. There are 2 flights of stairs to access the apartment with no elevator/lift, so you need to be able to get your bags up and down the stairs. This was not a problem for us. There are many restaurants for coffee, pastries, and gelato very close by the apartment. It was a very easy 8 minute walk to San Marco square and the Doge’s palace. We were 4 adults sharing the apartment and we were all pleased with it. The price was great when split by 2 couples. We would stay there again!

A beautiful, historical place with modern facilities. Most spots are within 15 minutes of walking distance. This place allows a unique venetian experience. I could watch gondolas come and go all day long.

We had a great stay in the apartment which was in a great location, close to shops and restaurants but also very quiet at night. It was very clean, had a great shower and very comfortable bed - couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely recommend.

Was a beautiful and peaceful stay - Patrizia is a friendly and responsive host. The place is clean and stocked up with lots of amenities, hairdryer, air con, towels, etc. Do keep in mind that for this balcony view, the unit will be on the top floor so you'll have to be okay with carrying any heavy luggage up a couple flights of stairs as there are no elevators. Would have preferred to have a self check-in option but the host was communicative and flexible with coordinating timing to meet up for checking in and showing us around the unit. It is a great neighborhood also close to a small market and a great cafe (Majer) for a quick breakfast. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! Valeria greeted us at check-in and gave us a warm tour of the apartment, which was her and her sister’s childhood home. You could truly feel her love for both the space and for Venice. Valeria was incredibly kind and shared a list of local recommendations—the one we tried was fantastic! The location is just a convenient 7-minute walk from the bus stop but felt very private, with a secure main gate separating the building from the street. The balconies were peaceful and beautiful. We would 110% recommend staying here!

Very pleasant stay at Vesna's. Very well-equipped house in a great environment. We really appreciated the small gifts offered by the family, eggs, beers, a bottle of champagne and a cheese and cold cuts tasting tray. We also had very warm exchanges. Everything was perfect.

Great stay. Super well located, near everything but in a peaceful surrounding, away from the intense activity of the center. We loved the place, very well decorated. Mirco provided lots of local recommendations, very useful. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggsge before check in. We loved it!

We spent a total of 6 days with Damir on vacation. The accommodation was extremely outstanding - especially the view with the pool. Since Damir lives right next door, the communication channels were short. Otherwise, everything was super clean and quiet. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back.

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

We have an excellent stay in this property it is in a quiet neighborhood but with very quick access to local restaurants and attractions (including the Peggy Guggenheim) and easy access to the water bus. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Venezia.

Very good location, centrally located in Barcola, but quiet. Great ambiance, beautiful rooms. And René was an excellent host, very accommodating, always available, informative, very friendly, thank you very much. Without a doubt, I would book again immediately if I were in Trieste. We had a wonderful stay at Marco's house. It is very pleasant, the private garden is a very appreciable plus, the house is very well maintained, well arranged, and very clean. The neighborhood is much quieter than the more touristy neighborhoods that can be easily reached on foot or by boat. Irene, who was our contact during our stay, was very attentive to our requests and informed us each time with great responsiveness and efficiency. We really enjoyed staying in Venice in this neighborhood and in Marco's house.

Amazing and very clean waterfront apartment. Google maps don’t show accurate directions so I recommend using Apple Maps, our host was very helpful to get us to the right address. The boat station (that you take to go everywhere) is only a few min away, the area is very safe, walkable and has lots of cool spots nearby - cafes, shops, everything. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality pots, dishes and supplies. Hot shower, and washing machine were very nice.

The place was great. Contact was very good. Check-in/check-out hassle-free. The location is great, 1 min to the sea with beautiful clear water. Minor “issues” were resolved right away. For example, the gas bottle for grilling was empty, we immediately got a new one the next day. Great! It was a pity that the awning was missing on the terrace, so it was very warm there during the day, so we put an umbrella from the pool on the terrace. It was also a pity that (as I think) the cleaning ladies really dispose of everything or take it with them. As a result, the kitchen is completely empty. No spices, no oil/vinegar, no pepper/salt….. Normally, I am used to the kitchen having a small basic equipment, or unused food from the previous owner remaining in the apartment. No reason to deduct a star for that :)! Maybe a suggestion for improvement for the future. Still 10/10. Thank you!

The apartment is great. It has a great view and it's fully furnished. The building is old and the elevator is small but when you go inside the apartment everything is perfect.

Tanja&Bor’s apartment was perfect for our family of five to stay in Ljubljana. The location is very close to all the sights and to tons of restaurants and bars. We had an excellent meal with great service at Breg restaurant just below the apartment. My husband and I loved sitting on the terrace, people watching and looking at the castle and beautiful old town architecture. The apartment was very clean with spotless kitchen and baths. The ceiling in the living room/bedroom is amazing! Really beautiful and detailed. Do be aware that the three sleeping areas are attached and it is necessary for those in the middle bedroom to walk through one of the two other areas to get to the bathroom. Other than this, these rooms all have doors and are private otherwise. We had a fabulous stay would highly recommend staying here.

We had a very nice stay at this place. Walkable distance to everything, and quite tucked away so it feels more quiet. Would come back!

We had a great week in Claudio's apartment, it is not huge, but had everything we needed except red wine glasses. Very practical apartment with good a/c, good bed, enough towels, drying line for the bath linen, and it was very well cleaned! In addition, it was incredibly nice to find some toast, cold cuts, tea, coffee and water etc. available, we arrived at the apartment late at night and did not have time to shop. The stairs up to the apartment were long, but it was definitely easier without heavy suitcases. The instructions we received on video from Claudio before we arrived were explanatory and helpful. We highly recommend the apartment to others who want to experience Trieste!

We had a wonderful stay, great location, modern amenities, everything you need. Beach only 5 min away, great shopping, great pool. Markus was always available and was very helpful the whole time

Our stay in Venice was truly wonderful, largely thanks to our fantastic Airbnb experience. Alessandro, the co-host, greeted us personally at the water taxi station, which was incredibly helpful and a great start to our visit. He then showed us to the apartment, which was nothing short of amazing and precisely as described. The apartment offered more than enough space for our family, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We loved the amazing terrace, where we spent enjoyable evenings. The location was also absolutely perfect, ideally situated right between the iconic San Marco Square and the Galleria dell'Accademia. This central spot made exploring Venice a breeze. We had such a great time and would absolutely love to come back and stay here again!
