This walking tour takes you through the beautiful forest that leads to the foot of Mt. Tanigawa, where you can see the rock face of Ichinokurazawa, which boasts an overwhelming scale, up close. You will walk leisurely with a mountain guide who was born and raised in Minakami, learning about the forest's plants, the changing nature with the seasons, the history of Mt. Tanigawa, and its connection to the region. The course is mainly on paved roads that are easy to walk on, and the round trip to Ichinokurazawa is about 7 km. No special mountaineering skills are required, and it is recommended for those who want to enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery and time in the forest at a leisurely pace.

You can pick your own delicious figs and eat them on the spot, You can also take them home, chill them in the refrigerator, and eat them later. Children under elementary school age are free. Please share the parents' harvest and the tasting portion and enjoy them together. If you have a cooler box or Styrofoam, please bring it with you. Figs last longer when kept cold. We can provide free cold packs.

We will enjoy the local roads and the scenery of the hot spring town at a leisurely pace by bike in a small group. At Jigokudani Monkey Park, you can observe Japanese macaques living in the wild. This tour departs after renting a bicycle near Yutaka Station. The bicycle rental fee is not included in the tour price, so please pay separately.
