Apartment holiday rentals in Gwangjin District

Hwangsan was a great and accommodating host. The place was extremely clean. The subway station and bus stop were not very far away. We also preferred walking to some of the attractions like seoul station and namdaemun market (about 30 minutes). There were also some nice cafes nearby. The place is also in a quieter neighborhood so that was very nice (you can hear the train when your windows are open but wasn’t an issue at all).

Lucky’s place was perfect for a solo long stay in Seoul. There is much to do in the surrounding area and overall it felt like a home away from home. Lucky was also very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. If ever I stay in Seoul, I will definitely look out for Lucky’s place again. This is first time that we had the "real" AirBnB experience, it felt great. It complies with the idea of AirBnB to share your space with others. Louis's place exactly matched, we felt like staying at home of good friends. The apartment had everything what friends also would leave there. A fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. All what we needed to wash our clothes was there too. We didn't miss a thing (except a safe). The location is great, close to the mountains. But it's a bit tricky to reach the main spots of Seoul. Always you have to start your journey with a small bus to reach the subway. Which will always takes a bit more than 1h to bring you downtown Seoul. But there is a huge advantage: Gaerung station is close to the end of that subway line, when going to the city you mostly will find a vacant seat. Small shops are close, if you want to find some restaurants nearby, go to Gaerong station, we found great places to eat in the small streets around the subway station.

Jung is the Host with the Most! I stayed 2 months and I felt like it was my own place. The area is away from the hustle and bustle. Mountains, temples, hiking trails, Mom and Pop stores and restaurants. I wanted the local feel. I felt like I found a community. Coco's for hair, Amazing Nails for amazing nails and a bulgogi shop next door run by a sweet family. Beautiful Hanoks, streets to explore and an open air market right next to Line 4 Sungshin Women's University Station (a 10 minute walk downhill if you don't stop every 5 meters to shop or get coffee). The station also connects to the Ui LRT. The Airiang Cine Center next door offers a cafe 10 meters door to door (say hi to Pak!) and a movie a theater that shows American movies in English! A modern flat with two bed rooms in an outstanding area. The End.

I genuinely loved staying here. Not only was the location so central to Seoul, but the staff was so kind. When I had to leave, they drove me to the bus stop with my luggages. I would truly recommend the spot for anyone visiting Seoul!!

It was close to the station, there were many restaurants, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable for the value. The host responded quickly, so I had a good rest without any inconvenience.

I had an amazing stay at Ady’s place in Seoul! The location was fantastic—just a short 6-minute walk from Seoul National University subway station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The neighborhood was quiet yet well-connected, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. But more than anything, the highlight of my experience was Ady. From the moment I arrived, Ady was incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed—like leaving my baggage with her while gone to Busan for a short trip. Staying here made my time in Seoul even more special, and I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a great stay with a fantastic host, this is the place to be. This place is definitely a recommendation for any family. Having 3 bathrooms was great, especially with teens. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They were responsive and helpful. Being above a bakery was great. Sinchon station exit 7 is just a 5 minute walk. There are several convenient stores around and an E-Mart for groceries with a Daiso next to it. Great location.

the host would respond quickly at times I expected them to be sleep. also very helpful with the recycling and how to access the amenities.

Gwangu (the host) is very responsive in attending to our needs. He provided us with flat iron when we asked for it even though it was not in the list of amenities so thanks a lot for that! The actual place is as seen in the posted photos, though they can clean the laundry area a little more :) The area is also in a good location and very much walkable to Hongik University subway stn and bus stations.

Very quiet neighborhood but didn’t know it was that far from the city center approx 1.45mins but the place is homey and clean, very clear instructions and responsive. I just wished it had more pillows and smart tv as a foreigner we can’t understand all the shows. Netflix would be great. Overall I can come back again. Thanks Logan!

Lee & Oh’s place is super clean and comfortable, made us felt right at home. You can feel a lot of love and care have been put into the apartment as the owners pay attention to every small detail, making our stay very comfortable. The apartment is also very spacious and perfect for families. Would definitely recommend 100%z

Awesome location. Right next to exit 1 of Hongdae Station. The room has a huge window and an amazing view! Host is super nice and respond to messages quick.

Great location, safe, close to subway, restaurants, and shops. The place is cozy and well-furnished. JD is a great host - he is helpful, responsive, and proactive.

The space is bigger than I expected and exceptionally clean. The bed is comfortable although the blanket was not super warm, the ondol floor heating was enough. The host was very accommodating and allowed us to do a late check out when we asked! The location is also very convenient, although it is on a bit of a hill it’s not anything too terrible. Noryangjin station is a great area pretty center to everything, about 30min in all directions. Just some things to note though, it is in the basement level however so it’s very dark when you wake up. And for some reason when I put the address into Naver Maps, it brought me to the north of the station but that’s wrong. Make sure you are going south and it’s across the street from a 7-11!

I was extremely delighted to have spent a wonderful trip in Seoul at Jason's house. First of all, Jason would pick us up at Hongdae subway station with a luggage cart and give us detailed explanations on garbage sorting and other methods. Secondly, the room was very clean and tidy, even with a medicine box, making it very comfortable to live in. Lastly, the room was very close to Hongdae, and it was very convenient to go anywhere in Seoul during our stay. There were also many places to play around Hongdae.

What a fantastic place to stay at! We like staying at local places, away from tourist spots and this place felt right at home! the unit is super clean, lots of amenities, very close to bus and subway and overall just a great place. Luna is very very responsive since the first day we booked. She answered questions, provided recommendations, and was very accommodating. She also was very helpful in booking a van for us to head back to the airport as we ended up having more luggage! She made all the arrangements and paid with her own card first, then proceeded to charge us through Airbnb after. She went above and beyond as a host and we are extremely thankful! looking forward to booking this place on our next trip to Seoul!!!

Staying with Brad and Sarah was a great experience, as their apartment is located in the beautiful Hannam area, surrounded by many great restaurants, cafe and fashion and lifestyle shops. Apart from the great location, Brad was an exceptional host that goes beyond to ensure our comfort, and gives great recommendation around the neighbourhood. The best Airbnb experience we had and definitely will stay here when we are in Seoul again.

Very easy to find and clear instructions from the host. It's very near a busstop for a direct bus to the airport as well which I found very convenient. The room itself has all basic amenities and is spacious and very clean. Just note that the mattress is quite hard if you're sensitive to that. It wasn't a problem for me and I would definitely like to come back sometime.

It was neat and detailed, so I spent it comfortably.
