Hwaeng is located in the middle of Jeonju, in Taepyeong-dong, Wansan-gu. Taepyeong-dong was the center of transportation and commercial district with the first Jeonju Station and Yeoncho Manufacturing Building in the past, and it was built in 1969 with 50m2 in the residential alley, a village of merchants, utilizing the flood and geography at that time. The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt.
