We really enjoyed Sabine and Sander's place! It was beautiful and we loved the interior decor and the ability to open many of the windows. It felt super clean and comfy and was exactly as described, and they were super responsive with all of our questions. Haarlem was very walkable with lots of shops and restaurants, and it was super easy to take the train into Amsterdam. We'll miss this place and we would definitely recommend staying! Hope to come back again; highly recommend.

Wir waren zu dritt bei Karin zu Gast in dieser sehr schönen ruhigen Wohnung. Karin hat uns von Anfang an hilfreich unterstützt und war für alle Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Da sie oben drüber wohnt, stand sie schnell zur Verfügung. Wir waren in 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Bahnhof Haarlem, um mit der Bahn in 15 Minuten in Amsterdam anzukommen. Am Abend genossen wir die Ruhe auch im kleinen Garten der Wohnung nach dem ganzen Trubel. Aber auch Haarlem selbst ist ein Besuch wert. Auch kommt man mit dem Bus oder mit dem Rad schnell ans Meer, wenn man das noch einplanen möchte. Da die Wohnung keine Küche hat kann man nicht selbst kochen, wir hatten aber alles zur Verfügung um in der Wohnung zu frühstücken. Karin hat uns sogar das Abwaschen übernommen - ein perfekter Ort für einen Kurzurlaub.

Yasmin’s place was amazing! Unfortunately we had a short stay so we didnt get to experience everything she had to offer but the amenities were great and it was a beautiful location as well. She is also super friendly and communicated well. We would definitely book again.

Haarlem is gorgeous. The apartment perfect. Everything was within a ten minute walk- windmill, boat cruise, churches, easy train station, tons of places to eat and grocery. We LOVED it here.

The ultimate proof that Dave’s place is fantastic is when we took a Haarlem canal tour and floated right by the home and the amazing garden. Our fellow boat mates oohed and aahed while taking pictures as we shared how wonderful we were finding the accommodations. It was a fitting way to share our “home” with fellow travelers.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und es hat an nichts gefehlt (außer vielleicht einen Pfannenwender). Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und gut eingerichtet. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Auch die Kommunikation war hervorragend , sowie hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung.

Mark ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Alles war wie beschrieben und wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist eine große Empfehlung und alle größeren Städte wie Amsterdam, den Haag etc. sind sehr gut zu erreichen.

Do yourself a favour and book this BnB for your Haarlem/Amsterdam stay! We have never enjoyed a BnB so much, highlight of our holiday - comfortable, beautiful, convenient, and had everything you need. Really easy and quick to get into Amsterdam by train too, yet so much more chill and welcoming than staying in Amsterdam city. Great dining and drinking options all within a few short steps. Two mattresses are joined to be a comfortable king size. Our first decent shower after weeks - finally good pressure and a clean showerhead! The house itself is bright and beautifully decorated, modern clean kitchen and bathroom. The host lives here when not used as a BnB I think, so this meant the house was fully equipped and safe. Beware there are steep stairs! The rooftop balcony was a highlight, we loved being up there. I have nothing negative to say, all the appliances are in Dutch so you’ll be using google translate or chat gpt for those if you aren’t a Dutch speaker. Highly recommend booking!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Brendas Haus! Die Unterkunft eignet sich toll für Familien. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause und es ist für alles gesorgt. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und alles ist sehr sauber. Mit den Fahrrädern ist man schnell beim Bäcker, für Ausflüge nach Harlem und an den Strand haben wir jedoch das Auto bevorzugt. Für uns (4 Erwachsene und 2 Kleinkinder) war die Unterkunft perfekt. Danke, liebe Brenda!

Ich habe mich sofort in das Loft verliebt. Alles hat gestimmt, Maaike hat einen aussergewöhnlich guten Einrichtungsstil, einfach zum verlieben und bis ins Detail abgestimmt. Das Loft ist riesig und bietet viel Platz. Danke Maaike und Mark für diese super Möglichkeit, meinen Kururlaub im schönen Holland zu geniessen. Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanvort am Meer und Alkmaar sind mit dem Auto sowie dem Zug in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Das Wetter hat auch gestimmt, also 10 von 10 Punkten.

Das Haus war sehr gut geeignet für unsere 5-köpfige Familie mit Hund. Wir hatten 2 schöne Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein ausziehbares Bett im Flur. Die Gastgeberin Katelijne war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser und wir konnten uns ein Boot mieten und die Umgebung erkunden. Wir konnten sogar mit dem Boot zum Einkaufen fahren. Das war ein tolles Erlebnis. Nach Amsterdam sind es ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Auf Anraten von Katelijne haben wir unser Auto am Park+Ride abgestellt und sind mit der Metro in die Innenstadt. Das hat sehr gut funktioniert. Das Haus und die Lage sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

It was the perfect place for us and our two girls (age 2 and 6). The backyard was lovely and we enjoyed spending time outside whenever the weather allowed. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The only negative was the wifi did not work well. Just something good to be aware of.

Die Unterkunft von Elisa war wirklich super! Alles sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Nähe zum Flughafen hat uns persönlich nicht gestört. Im Großen und Ganzen hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Me and my family fell in love with the property. By far the best airbnb we’ve stayed at. Looking forward to come back in the future. Property has a beautiful garden that makes it a perfect place to enjoy quality time with the fam. Property is close to a bus station which can get you to the local train station and from there you can go anywhere.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described The location was perfect. We truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

Location is perfect, place is nice and roomy, steps and hallway are a bit narrow but was totally fine for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Cute cafe nearby for breakfast. Host was great as well. Lots of good recommendations!!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!
