The cottage is in an unparallelled location just 150 yards from "the best bit" of Hadrians Wall at Walltown Crags and directly opposite the Roman Army Museum. There is parking for 1 vehicle as well as a bus stop right (services include AD122) outside. We are perfectly located for walking, visiting the historical sites along Hadrians Wall, Lake District & Scottish Borders.

The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

We are a fully working farm, around a 1000 acres, and have cows and sheep.
