Cabin holiday rentals in Haliburton County

My friends and I had a great time at Elias' cottage! The cottage was so comfortable with plenty of seating room, enough bedrooms (with super comfy beds!), and a great screened in porch. Unfortunately we didn't have great weather, but we spent the majority of our time in the covered hot tub which was amazing. We look forward to coming back soon!!

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay here! The house was beautiful, spotless, and looked even better than the pictures already were. The hosts did an amazing job to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing time. Victoria and Jason were extremely welcoming, responsive, and ensured everything was perfect. Highly recommend to anyone!

What a beautiful place! The dock area with hot-tub, picnic table and huge seating area in a serene lake setting with trees was incredible. The cottage itself clean and comfortable with many places to sit quietly or enjoy games together. I highly recommend! It was a cold and rainy weekend for us, but we still had fun! We can imagine how wonderful it would be in warmer weather! The hosts were very responsive to questions and very helpful.

Amazing view! Great place to escape and still be connected! Perfect place for a little getaway! Will 100% be recommending this spot to friends and Family!

This cottage was absolutely serene. It had everything we wanted when it came to a getaway from city life. Brad was very quick to respond and we had no issues at all when we were there! It rained for one of our two nights but luckily they also had a great selection of board games. We loved the hot tub and the breath taking view. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We had an amazing time staying at White Pine Lodge in one of their cozy wooden cabins. The layout was perfect for a small group—there was a comfortable bedroom in the loft and a convertible couch on the main floor. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The outdoor space truly made the experience special. We had our own patio with a BBQ, and plenty of firewood was provided for evening campfires. The property also offered canoes and kayaks at no extra charge, making it easy to explore the beautiful lake and surrounding nature. What stood out most was the care and hospitality of the host. During a power outage last weekend, they went out of their way to check in on us and even brought us fresh water to make sure we were okay. Overall, it was the perfect getaway to unwind and explore the scenic areas of Dwight and the Oxtongue River. We would definitely return.

I had a great time on my mini vacation at this property. Very relaxing, lovely little property and easy to get to. Felt very private even though it was close to other homes.

We had an amazing time here! From the moment we arrived, it was peaceful and quaint. Walking in to cabin, it was far better than our expectations and the pictures posted. The big windows and open concept kitchen/dining/living room was amazing! We could see and hear nature without having to be in nature. Caitlin was a great host! Super attentive, friendly and responsive when we reached out. We will definitely be back! Would recommend this cabin a million times over!

We had a wonderful long weekend getaway at the cottage. It was clean, well stocked, and easily accommodated our large group. Blair and Erin were helpful and responsive. The property was well laid out with great spaces for meals, chats, and relaxing. And the sauna and large dock were greatly appreciated. We would certainly love to return!

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

We had a great stay. Small little cabin but had everything you could possibly need. Inside the cabin. The indoor wood burning stove was excellent and cozy. We brought wood from home however they do offer wood at a cost if need be. If you're looking for a quaint little cabin that has all the amenities, I would highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic weekend at this cottage and would absolutely return! The private beach is such a unique and special feature, perfect for relaxing and playing. The gradual entrance to the water made it ideal for our toddler to splash around safely, and the fishing was great too! The cottage itself was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. We also really appreciated the privacy, with neighbours on only one side, it felt peaceful and secluded. If you are on the dock you are close to one neighbour’s dock but otherwise you can’t really see them. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a clean, quiet getaway with awesome outdoor perks!

Cute and very rustic cabin for our little kids and dogs. We happened to be there during extreme snow and weather so less to do locally as our little kids did not like the minus 20 feels - but we found puzzles games and toys inside to keep us busy and the nearby town of Haliburton had a Vintage Cafe which was awesome for hanging out and having some warm food and drink. Olga left snowshoes for us to use so my husband and I took turns trekking about. Nature surrounding is beautiful. Nice break from the city. Thanks Olga!

beautiful cabin, super cozy! in the day we walked around the forest, waded in the river, swam in the nearby lakes and beaches, and at night we made a fire and gazed up at the stars, just such a lovely time. the hosts are extremely responsive and recommended great things to do :))

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful cottage and would highly recommend it to others. The home is beautifully designed, very spacious and clean, and well stocked with everything you would need to be comfortable and entertained. Things that stood out for us included the excellent scandi design, the outdoor sauna (amazing!), the cozy beds, the games room, and the lovely forest for a winter snow shoe hike. The cottage is incredibly private and quiet, yet its only 5 minutes to Sir Sam's Ski Resort and about 20 minutes to Winterdance dog sledding. The local market is also very close and we never felt that anything was too far or inconvenient. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they made sure the parking and pathways were cleared of snow prior to our arrival. We highly recommend this excellent cottage!

My husband Steve and I stayed 3 nights at Jessica's beautiful cottage on Gull Lake. We felt right at home upon arrival and found everything we needed for our stay. There were hooks in the bathroom and both bedrooms to keep organized during our stay. The whole cottage is tastefully decorated and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Great outdoor space on the deck for eating and the BBQ was clean and worked well. The firepit area overlooks the water and we enjoyed a fire every evening. The dock was our favourite place to have coffee in the morning. We easily launched our paddle boards from the beach area. The property was beautiful and well kept. We would definitely rent Jessica's cottage again! Thanks for a great long weekend, Janet & Steve

We had a wonderful time unplugging in nature at Patricks cottage. We loved the wood burning fireplace at night and waking to the beautiful view. We enjoyed using the canoe and swimming even though it was a bit cooler. We also enjoyed a nice hike around Thank you for a wonderful stay and for all your recommendations

The space isn't large but it's well laid out and worked great for two people and one dog. The kitchen was very functional, wifi was good, and the surrounding forest was wonderful. Several nice trains on the properly and lots of amazing parks and trails a short drive away. While not really that far out of town, it felt a million miles away which is exactly what we were looking for. Great communication from the hose. We'd stay again. Thanks for a great stay.

We spend such wonderful time at The Robin cabin. Leonard was kind and friendly always try to make or vacation well remembered. We are appreciate for everything. The nature and location are so comfortable and beautiful that we will definitely return there again.
