The property is truly amazing! The views were spectacular, the host was very friendly and quick to respond, and everything was very clean. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of space. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful additions and added to our experience. Alicia is a superb host and I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing house in a quiet protected cove on the lake. We had an amazing time and the spot is perfection. The kids loved the playground and the water toys! We had a campfire one night and even were lucky enough to be there during a meteor shower - which we got to see clearly. Troy was an amazing accommodating host. 10/10 recommend this place.

What a wonderful stay we had at the lake house! Coming from the US where the weather is already 95F, it was a fantastic way to beat the heat and spend time with family. Such a great location on the lake with peace and quiet (we live in large cities). The lake house itself is beautiful! Amazing glass windows give everyone the lovely views of Nova Scotia. The home is modern, spacious, and accommodated us all. Jolena is amazing! She’s responsive, friendly, and all around a lovely human being. We will be back!!

Jordan's home was absolutely magical! Such a pristine landscape, beautiful and spacious home with oustanding views from every window. We used the lovely fireplace, the jacuzzi and sauna - amazing. It was very private and peaceful, and was hard to leave it was so fantastic! Jordan was responsive and accomodated an early check-in where he could which we super appreciated. Highly recommend, would absolutely go back! Thank you!!!

We stayed with Jessica for 7 days. First the house is beautiful and bigger than the pictures show. We had a large group and there was still a lot of space. Jessica was always very responsive to questions and gave lots of tips for things to do in the area. Hurricane Ernesto was supposed to hit us while we were there, Jessica sent a plan for power outages and had backup cooking plans just in case something happened. I would stay with Jessica again!

We had a fantastic stay at this bright, clean, and spacious home in Halifax. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Quinpool Road, Dalhousie University, and the Halifax Commons. The neighborhood is lively but quiet, and everything we needed was close by. Inside, the space was spotless and filled with natural light, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout. It was easy to relax, celebrate with friends, and enjoy our downtime. Note that there are residents in the upstairs and downstairs units. While generally quiet, there were a few times that the sounds were disruptive. Communication with the hosts was excellent—check-in was smooth, and all our questions were answered quickly. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

So happy to have found this fantastic spot for a weekend getaway with friends! House was exactly as shown and spotless. Equipped with all the amenities required for our stay. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate we were still able to enjoy the amazing view from the house, and the hot tub was perfect for the cooler temperatures with a quick dip in the lake as well 😊 Communication was easy and host didn’t hesitate to answer all my questions, even if they were silly ones lol Would stay here again whenever I have the chance. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Gregory and Pauline’s place. It was perfect for our family and all or our needs were met. The home was very clean, the view was spectacular, and it was close to amenities if needed. We definitely hope to stay again!

Our group of 8 (plus a golden retriever pup) had an incredible stay at Stephen’s place. It was easy to find and checking in and out was seamless. The space was perfect for a larger group with all of the living spaces and seating, great for games and meals. We had all we needed in the kitchen for the group and even a welcome bottle of local cider. The outdoor space was great for our dog to run around and even get in a swim, a bonfire, and relaxing on the deck. A beautiful, homey place to stay inside and out. Stephen was quick to respond and accommodating to all of our needs! A perfect host!

Christine was extremely responsive and accommodating host. The place is located close to amenities such as grocery store and drugstore within walkable distance. We saw a deer on a walking trail close to the house. The place is bright and spacious. It is spacious with room to spread. We had a wonderful time in Dartmouth.

This is a nice house, comfortable to stay a bit on trips! Everything is just as fine as in those photos. It’s pretty peaceful neighborhood and there is a lake within 5 minutes walk, you can enjoy the morning view at your ease! Overall highly recommended!

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!

It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

This house blew us away and we’ve stayed a lot of spaces. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places that’s actually better than the photos. Every room was so clean, and beautifully designed but still felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Our group of eight had tons of space to spread out and unwind. We only stayed three nights but instantly wished we’d booked the whole week. It’s the perfect distance for all the day trips we wanted to take. We explored Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and even Lunenburg and Wolfville (loved this place, it’s so cute!). I mean then there’s the games room, lake, pool and water toys. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this house and book longer than you think. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re staying for the week!

I booked CJ’s place last minute for member of our company’s upper management team. He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. Beautiful stay! The lake was fairly accessible, unfortunately the pool was out of service but the host kindly informed us before our stay and gave us options for refund. Happy we decided to stay, as it is a beautiful spot by the lake!

This property fit our needs perfectly. The view of lake was outstanding. The house was very clean and the bedding was comfortable. The hot tub was also clean and easy to use.

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

The house is beautiful, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for a big group. Beautiful kitchen and dining area. We were expecting the pool to be open, but were informed the day before that it was not ready yet, which was unfortunate. There was still a hot tub, which was nice. Waterfront is great. Location is very private, but further than expected from Halifax. Overall awesome place, would recommend. Priced as expected for the size of house.
