Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. The lodge is located at Tjønndalen Fjellgard in a scenic mountain area about 900 meters above the see level. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin, summer and winter. We also operates Haukeli Husky who offers dogsledding summer and winter. You are of course welcome to visit our kennel and our 55 friends when you are our guest.
