New place to stay

Renewed open! All 4 buildings are private, large pool source open-air bath karaoke table tennis darts BBQ

kkasaiRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I used it for a trip with 15 colleagues from work. Upon arrival, the host gave us a direct tour of the facility, and we were able to use it without any questions. As we were the first guests after the renovation, the party games and other items were new, and it was very clean and easy to use. There were no other buildings around, so I could enjoy a private space without worrying about the surroundings. The open-air bath and pool were also beautiful and easy to use.I imagined that there would be a lot of insects because it is surrounded by nature, but personally, I didn't mind as much as I thought. I was very satisfied because I could have a BBQ (separate charge) on the veranda on the second floor while looking at the beautiful sea. However, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets in the vicinity, so you need to be careful about preparing ingredients. It was a lovely place that I would like to use again!

[Big dogs welcome!] 3LDK with pool, sauna, and dog run, rent the entire house

AkahoriRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The sauna was not very hot, but the steam circulated easily, making it feel hot enough, and it was more comfortable than expected. After that, we cooled off in the illuminated pool, which was extraordinary and enjoyable. The kitchen was also spacious, and we were able to communicate with a large number of people. The bedding and water area were clean and comfortable to use. There are many insects outside, so we recommend that those who are not good with insects spend time indoors. The accommodation was really great.Thank you very much.

June Campaign!【Yamaguchi Annex】Private with Onsen

ChristiannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Manami’s place. The hot spring was very nice after a long day out exploring the area. The location is very convenient in terms of being just minutes from the train station. The host is responsive and we could keep our luggage inside before we checked in since we arrived a bit earlier and went out to see sights. I would definitely stay again for the peace and quiet and the hot spring bath.

Mt. Fuji from Onsen bath、

Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Two families used it for one night in one car.The room had 2 single beds in the bedroom and 2 double beds in the living room, which matched the family composition. One adult and one child slept in the double bed, but I think two adults could sleep in it. The kitchen is also equipped with cooking utensils, plates, and cups. You can also have a BBQ on the veranda, and you can rent charcoal and tongs for an extra fee.We recommend purchasing ingredients in advance. It takes about 20 minutes by car to the nearest supermarket. The room was clean and the owner was friendly, so I enjoyed it.Mt. Fuji is also visible from the veranda, and it is a great location. The meeting place with the owner was a 7-Eleven, but there was no sign, and I was worried for a moment whether it was really the meeting place.

Private villa with alpine view from the terrace

MarcRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is an excellent Airbnb, have confidence booking. We were warmly greeted by Villa Nagare's friendly owner and were given a detailed tour with welcome fruits and drink. We quickly felt at home in this beautifully renovated home. It is well equipped and included a high chair and children's cutlery for our child. We spent many hours relaxing on the terrace and watching the sublime alpine view. We initially booked 3 nights but extended an extra 2 because we were highly impressed with the accommodations and area! We were sad to leave but will return!!!

Time to hear the chirping and singing of birds/Private villa with container sauna/Natural water bath to drink/Roofed BBQ

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Loved staying by the Itadori river, the village is by no means touristy, in fact the opposite, one tiny shop opposite the property, a couple of eating places but they were closed, but in saying that it was great to wander round a "real village", spotted a troop on monkeys up at the village shrine, there was also great bird wildlife. The river valley is absolutley beautiful, we loved the small balcony looking over the river. The place was absolutely spotless and vey well equipped. A car is really needed. It is by a road, although not busy there was a little noise in the early morning but I would certainly stay again.

Guest House Nijuyon A traditional Japanese house that can also be used for recordings

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Takashi’s place is wonderful and so peaceful! The village and its people are very welcoming. And the ramen meal in Kikyoya was amazing. Nakasendo Way with its shogunate history is easy and quick to get to by car from Takashi’s place. Renting a car was very easy and is well worth doing for discovering the area. We were fortunate to have found Takashi’s gem of a place on Airbnb. He is a great and kind host, who truly cares for his guests.

Awesome trip to Hamamatsu, Hamanako, Kanzanji

龍矢Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nice and communicative host. It was great to have the purpose of this trip and have suggestions for those who are local. If anyone is considering a place to stay, it will depend on what you want to use it, but it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the information your host has provided. As others have reviewed, you can communicate smoothly and comfortably, so please ask if you have any questions. Thank you very much.

1-min Station | River-View House on Nakasendo

AarniRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you're looking to get away from basically everything, this is the place. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, next to a rushing river, it's nothing like the big cities and millions of people rushing this way and that you might associate with Japan. That said, that also means there isn't a lot to _do_ in Nagiso or Tsumago, other than hike and see some local sights, and local transit can be a little patchy. The place itself is beautiful and comfortable, literally right next to the JR station, with a full-featured kitchen (a local supermarket is right down the street), comfy beds, big projector screen for a night of chilling out (e. g. after hiking in the rain, as we did)! There's also a nice recently reopened café next door, and some restaurants (though don't expect very long opening hours) too. Small note - if you're _very_ sensitive to traffic/industrial noise, be aware there's a somewhat major highway next to the house. Traffic does die down in the night though.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Honestly some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. All the staff were very friendly. The house was very comfortable and clean and we loved the design. The bath was also amazing! If you travel ~30mins north you can get a glimpse of Mt. Fuji which we were lucky enough to see. Absolutely loved the place - 10/10 would recommend

This price for 2 people! An inn in a historic kominka house in Iwamura Castle Town. How about renting a retro kimono and dressing up? (Reservation required)

NaämaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Sonoco’s guesthouse! First of all, Sonoco is an absolute gem. She’s extremely kind and helpful. She sent us a lot of suggestions for restaurants and activities and even offered to call the restaurant in advance to check if there was still space for us. On our last day she even brought us all the way to Nagoya station (1,5 hour drive!!) which made our journey to Kyoto a lot easier! Iwamura is a beautiful, lovely town where you can really experience the old Japan. There were almost no other tourist there (at least we didn’t see them). We rented kimono’s at Sonoco’s kimono rental and this was a great experience. The kimono’s were beautiful and Sonoco and her friend really took their time with us. We could walk around town and even eat at an izakaya in kimono. All in all a great experience so make sure you rent a kimono with her if you can! I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a little out of the way but worth it. Thank’s for everything, Sonoco!

Machihaku 456 [One private house]

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Airbnb is beautiful with adequate facilities! The shower was very big too with strong water pressure and hot water. It is a good location to explore the areas near Mount Fuji and also the peninsula. Check in and out were very simple too. As the host prefaced, the sound of the cars can be heard from the bedroom but we are heavy sleepers so it didn’t bother us at all. Thank you for the lovely stay!
