The Box House is one of the most amazing Air BnB’s I’ve ever stayed in. In terms of design it is a unique house and the pictures capture the scale perfectly. The villa has full staffing led by the lovely Dhilan who is a great chef, concierge, butler all rolled into one. His Sri Lankan dhal, omelette, and moju are perfection! This was an RnR break for the family and Box House ticked all the boxes. The pool is HUGE and the ground lovely. Everything was on hand for us to unwind and switch off for a few days. Kasun handled all pre booking comms promptly and was very helpful. Three of the five bedrooms have their own entrance so this makes the property perfect for larger groups. I have a couple of suggestions for the hosts to elevate Box House even further. If air conditioning can be added to the main room it can increase its usability and families can have a central space to come together. Second, a small menu stating Dhilan’s specialities in Sri Lankan cuisine will be very helpful.

I had an incredible stay at Nishanka home! This was truly an amazing life experience not simply an accomodation. I got to understand from inside Sri Lanka culture, Nishanka and her husband are such lovely warm hearted and good people they will do anything to ensure their guests have a unique special time. If you are in the safari parks area dont think twice, book their home! Surrounding nature is beautiful, it is the ideal place to relax. Also they provided me free tasty local meals, arranged transfers, safari and laundry. Thank you so much again for all your kindness, I will never forget you🙏

We had a lovely time at Lova’s place! The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Short reminder that there is no AC but with the open windows and fan the heat was manageable. The atmosphere was amazing, waking up to the sun and sounds of the forest was a dream. The location was a little remote, we rented a scooter to get to the beaches (takes ca 25 min to Hiriketiya, 15 min to Tangalle).

Our stay was quite comfortable, we had dinner and breakfast there and the food was very good. The hosts were very helpful, they found drivers for us to reach and leave the place and also arranged the safari for the following day. Overall a great experience.

Our group of friends had an unforgettable 5-day stay at Villa Elise. The villa is in a peaceful beachfront location — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. One of the highlights was the beautiful swimming pool, which was clean and inviting at all hours — we loved having the option for a swim any time of day or night. The villa itself is modern, spacious, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Celine and her team were warm, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and we chose to have the in-house Chef prepare our dinners — every dish was excellent. A special highlight was the BBQ dinner, which was perfectly arranged and made for a great evening together. Villa Elise was everything we hoped for and more. It’s the perfect place for a group getaway, and we’re looking forward to return!

If you want to do a safari in Udawalawe park, this is the stay you need to book. Super friendly people, amazing apartment (the views are incredible) and they organized a safari tour for us which was amazing. Our driver knew a lot about the wildlife and helped us stay away from most jeeps!

We loved our time at Sanath’s place! The accommodations and surrounding gardens are so beautiful and peaceful. We were greeted with cool drinks and warm smiles from Sanath, Saki, and Meraj, and they made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing meals on the beautiful patio area. Saki prepared us wonderful food- some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our safari with Sanath in the national park and learned much from him about the wildlife in the area. We highly recommend Sanath’s place for anyone traveling in the area.

Tiron and his wife were great hosts. We felt very comfortable and the accommodation was nice. He organized our safari and we didn't have to worry about anything, that was great! The breakfast was very good and we also stayed for dinner (cost extra but was very tasty). We also spent the evening with the kids and Tiron's wife playing Uno, which was a lot of fun. We can only recommend it!!
