Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hammerfest Municipality

Una de las mejores estancias que hemos tenido en todos nuestros años en Airbnb. Nos arrepentimos de no habernos quedado más días. Simplemente perfecto y los anfitriones siempre estuvieron pendientes para ayudarnos, incluso despejaron más de una vez la nieve que se acúmulo en la entrada.

Fantastic hosts! helped us out with public transport options pre-visit, and a lift at 4 am on departure when it was the only option to catch a Snelandia bus! We also were (very!) kindly helped out when we stayed over Easter - as all supermarkets within 40km were shut… Host pulled up with a full-on 2ft Cod and some food to save us! Legends. Also, highly recommended for out-the-back-door peaceful ski touring with no crowds and fantastic snow and views!

Marianne and Trond Egil are the best hosts I’ve ever met. Both of them were extremely helpful throughout the stay and responded to questions very quickly. The house has a beautiful view. At night, I could watch the aurora right from the front of the house. Everything I needed was provided — it felt just like home. I especially loved the sauna. It was spacious enough for my whole family to enjoy together. It was truly a special moment.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour hivernal chez Vigdis. Nous cherchions un endroit paisible et reculé pour observer les aurores boréales et nous avons été comblés ! Vigdis a été très accueillante et attentive à notre bien être.

I didn't meet Trym but she was very kind to let me use the place despite I was late and it was ready for guests in the morning. It was a little hard for me to find at first, but there was a map and I just had to figure out where to go. Else really nice place for a family, or couple

We booked the lodge for a stay over the Christmas week with family and we had a lovely week. The surroundings were beautiful with the snowy mountains, frozen river and national park as well as seeing the northern lights out of the back window. The lodge had everything we needed and was toasty warm. Gjermund was super responsive to questions and gave us lots of suggestions of local attractions including dog sledding in BØRSELV and the best spots for local scenery. Coming from the UK it was the perfect setting for snowball fights, sledding and building snowmen in the afternoons and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a less commercial festive break.

We were looking for a place for a short stay, with easy access to various attractions in this part of Norway. Frank's house was perfect for that. It's located about two hours from Nordkapp and right by the scenic road to Havøysund. The house has a beautiful view over a river, fjord and mountains. The village is super calm and there's nothing to do there but we liked it that way. The living room is spacious and offers lots of comfortable places to sit - pillows on the windowsill, armchairs, sofa, take your pick. Wi-fi was super fast but its range didn't extend to the terrace. Frank's house is right across the river. That's useful if you need any help as he can come in two minutes. At the same time, this means less privacy as the two houses face each other. The bedrooms could use proper curtains and not just blinds because they still let in a lot of light through the sides (we used some blankets to make the bedroom darker; otherwise it was impossible to sleep in the summer).

Had a wonderful stay. We were looking for a rest after having travelled from the Netherlands to the North Cape, which this was perfect for. Super cozy little hut for sleeping, dog was allowed inside also. We made use of the fireplace outside and had a relaxing time. Definitely recommend and we will plan to come back some time in the winter!

Die Unterkunft von Frank ist sehr speziell und wunderschön, das Erdhaus ist sehr gemütlich und komfortabel. Es hat alles, was man braucht und ist sehr sauber. Das Gastgeberpaar ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Rentiersuppe am ersten Abend, beim offenen Kamin war hervorragend. Diese Unterkunft können wir ohne Bedenken weiter empfehlen.

Amazing place! The landscape is absolutely beautiful — peaceful and scenic. The house is cozy and welcoming, and the kitchen has absolutely everything you might need. Would love to come back!
