This 1940 brick farm house was built by my grandfather and tobacco was grown for years. He owned and operated the White Swann Trading Post and grill until his passing. We consider ourselves fortunate and enjoy sharing the beauty and wonder of this place with our family and now you. Today it is in transition from being an active sheep farm. In addition to nice walking and outdoor hangout spots on the 83 acres there is a 9 acre lake where you may enjoy fishing and non motorized boating! Welcome!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. The house is located in a gated golf community. A view of the lake can be seen from the front porch and at the deck at the back of the house. Guests have a marina access and you can bring any non gasoline engine boats. You can enjoy the community pool(closed during winter season). The house has a fire pit in the backyard and a charcoal grill. Ample parking area. Wifi and Roku are included. Within min to a number of groceries and restaurants.

The community itself was lovely and peaceful — and the location struck the perfect balance: conveniently close to everything we needed, yet quiet and tucked away enough to feel like a true retreat. A special thanks to Nancy, who was extremely attentive and responsive throughout our stay. Her hospitality made all the difference. Our stay was wonderful! The house was well stocked with all the necessities needed when we arrived. The setting was lovely, the home was very nice and lake view was picturesque! The sandy beach access was very fun for the children and the whole setting was perfect for our family gathering. It was also very clean! Anthony was quick to respond to any questions or requests and was very helpful during our stay. We will definitely be rebooking for our next visit with family.

This house was perfect for a large group. We had four couples, and everyone was comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms. Came to see family in Sanford and the house was perfectly located. The house sits in a very secure gated community. They have a lake with a sandy beach, huge pool, and most special was a golf course. We had everything we needed to cook. Grocery store was just down the road. Hope to come back soon.
