Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Harrison County

2nd time at this location wont be the last. Great 4 bedroom. Plenty of space. Had a sales meeting with staff of ten in dining room with still plenty of comfortable room

This was a fantastic place to stay. A very lovely, quiet town and a perfectly kept home made this stay perfect.

It was absolutely incredible and i will definetly be coming back. The cottage and the surrounding town were beautiful and full of so much history. My husband and i made such amazing memories and we cant wait to come back!!!!

My son and I had a great time at our stay! House was nice and stocked with everything we needed. He really enjoyed fishing in the river and there was alot of space along the river line and in the back yard.

Can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. Everything was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Everything was brand new and very clean in the house. The game room and gym was such a cool area for us to hang out and enjoy our time in the area. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The house was cozy and nice. Google maps sent me to the cemetery behind the post office but I was able to find it. The general store across the street has a great breakfast and all the towns people were nice and polite. If I'm ever in the New Albany/Louisville area I would not hesitate to rebook Jane's cottage.

Janis was an excellent host. Always responsive and helpful. Her historic home was beautiful and so cozy. We enjoyed many family meals outside together and had fires in the outdoor fireplace. We also loved sitting on the lovely and spacious porch which was very peaceful and private. She was also able to give us local trail and hiking recommendations. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

Unique spot and only a couple of blocks to all the shops & restaurants on Market St. Would stay again.

Loved Takisha’s place. Everything was just as described and very clean. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. It also was very quiet for having several other units in the building. We stayed the night there for a concert and didn’t hear a bit of noise once we closed the patio door and were ready to wind down for the night. The patio had pretty comfy little rocking chairs as well! The building itself had a very cool concept and easy to understand. It was also very secure and private, needing to use your fob at every door. I felt the host was extremely responsive to answering all my questions and was so great with communication. She responded to me within minutes when I had a question about how to access the rooftop. I would definitely recommend!

The host was great at communicating with us before, during and after our stay. They not only provided so much useful information about the home and area but gave customized information, worked with us for an early check-in and checked on us after we arrived. She's super friendly and the home is great. With the 2 rules being take off shoes and have fun... it was a great place and somewhere we would certainly stay again if we're in the area.

The place was perfect for my bach party during Kentucky derby weekend. Especially with booking the top room as well. There was a door that combined both air bnbs. It was so helpful being able to go back and forth for both of my groups that were staying in their respective rooms. Amazing host no complaints on the stay what so ever. The only issue I ever see arising with this place is parking if you have people you don’t know stay in the other apartment. Definitely max of 4 cars fit in the driveway. And the sound levels for the bottom residents. But it is described in the description so if you complain about it then that’s on you for booking it knowing the situation. Loved the golf course right down the road. Good restaurants and walkable pizza shop and liquor store. Really was a great weekend with my friends and I thank Shaalim for being so responsive during the 10 months we communicated back and forth when I booked.

I absolutely loved my time in this beautifully decorated space. So close to downtown Louisville without the hassle of finding parking. I would definitely stay here again and again.

The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive. Perfect location and very comfortable—this was my second stay and would definitely stay again!

A wonderful place to stay, beautiful scenery

A wonderful cabin that we will certainly return to when visiting Elizabethtown. It was a peaceful, secluded environment yet really close to town.

The cabin was exactly as shown in the photos. Key code to open the door, which is nice so you don’t have to carry a key. He had some essentials like condiments, spices and sugar stocked in the kitchen. It felt like home.

I wish I could give this 100 stars. This oasis was exactly what we needed for a girls trip/reading retreat. Marty was responsive and so kind. He was quick to respond and walked us through the entire cabin and how to get inside. Not only did he leave us a welcome gift, he let us have free rein of the entire property. We are already planning our next getaway. If you had any hesitations on booking this cabin, don’t. You will not be disappointed at Serenity Acres!

Very nice and very clean. The beds were comfortable and we are very picky about beds. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked a lot with the provided pots and pans. There is a crockpot also but we didn’t use it. I wish I had brought my griddle for cooking breakfast. Even though two bedrooms were both on the same floor the layout still provided a good amount of privacy. It is very spacious. Firewood was provided. We left a tip for that. We loved watching the tugboats push the barges down the river. Take some board games and enjoy your family. Thank you Tammy for being so helpful with the entire process! We feel we were in the best cabin in the area! If we come back there again we would stay in the exact same cabin.

peaceful & serene location, easy to drive to, the closeness to river was amaxing ..could see myself staying again!
