We enjoyed our stay. Tony was responsive with a question even late evening. Many nice things like lots of towels and wash cloths, TP, snacks, coffee pods and creamers. Bring shampoo and hair dryer. The stairs inside the home are steep. All bedrooms are upstairs, but the only bathroom is downstairs. Just have to know this before booking. Our stay was very enjoyable.other than the stairs. Beautiful, peaceful neighborhood!

This was our second stay at Robert's place. We love the Ohio River at the back of the house with great views both during the day and at night. The beds are comfy and the house has lots of room to stretch out and enjoy. A must stop whenever we are in Wheeling.

Great home with a ton of amenities! The house was warm and welcoming, clean, and located very close to a number of downtown restaurants. Deb was the perfect host checking in with us both when we arrived and departed. We’d definitely stay here again if we ever found ourselves in WV again! Thanks for a great stay!

I really enjoyed relaxing here, I had the opportunity to be alone and enjoy the scenery, the time spent here will remain in my memory as a pleasant time, one minus was the weather, it was changeable and changed dramatically

Great stay! The house reminded us of a real-life Clue game with “secret” passages that connected each room. They did an amazing job of modernizing things enough to be functional, while still honoring the historic nature of the house. Breakfast and fresh fruit was such a nice touch and we are so grateful!

Pleasant stop for a night on our way out East. David's place has the rustic feel of a cabin in the hills, with the amenities of a clean kitchen and bath. We took a short walk down the gravel road to catch a beautiful sunset. Great communication. Looking forward to stopping by on our way back!

It was the perfect house that was very clean and fresh looking. It was centrally located to my family that lives in the area for our family reunion. It met all of our needs. Parking on the street was never a problem. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful as well. I will rent this house again when visiting the area.

This place is a great rare find airbnb in with swimming pool. Although we couldn’t use the pool due to weather staying under 65F, our kids did enjoyed enough of the hot tub. The rear view is beautiful. Even the dirt clearing side view from distance is worth watching. Free firewood is definitely a great addition. There were enough chairs and towels for 10. The beds and rooms were cleaned and nice. The only drawback was the sound of the traffic as it’s right on the road but we knew and didn’t bother much and owner had nothing to do about it. Parking was more than enough and finding the place was easy. We will be back with kids when the weather is warm enough for using the pool. Thanks Scott & Amanda for hosting us.

This place was absolutely phenomenal. The house itself was very clean. It had tons of space for everyone that came down for the weekend. The game room is such a huge bonus to this stay, we ended up spending most of our time in here. The hot tub is also great and works perfect. I would highly recommend this place and plan to come back in the future!

This is one of the coolest houses you'll ever stay in. we ended up spending most of our time at the house and it was super comfortable. Everybody had their own spaces and then some! We were a little worried about the weather because it was going to be in the '60s, but they crank the heat up to 82° on the pool for us and it was awesome! I had to work some Friday morning and the office was perfect for my needs. The kitchen stove was excellent to cook on and they had iron skillets as well which made the food perfect.

There’s honestly not a bad thing to say. The place was beautiful and everything was clean and perfect. We cannot wait to come back. We look forward to coming back in the summer and bringing our daughter. The view was beautiful as well.

We had a great time at the Redwood cabin! Even though it's a tight squeeze for two, we were able to have our 8-month old son in his pack and play and our dog fit. The owner called me before to warn me of the tight squeeze and make sure that's what we wanted. Scenery is superb and cabin itself feels well-organized and very clean. Bottled water and the Keurig was a great touch. Word to the wise - there is an outhouse-style toilet that's right at the base of the Redwood cabin. Also, they don't major on it in the listing, but the bathrooms with showers are extremely nice and homey. Great value and great location.
