The apartment is nicely located and is a good starting point for great trips in the nearby area. It is 10 min by car to the nearest store/gas station, 30 min to Harstad and 45 min to Evenes airport. Storage and one of the bedrooms are marked private and are used for the storage of personal belongings. Otherwise, the entire apartment, porch and outdoor area are available.

The property has been significantly upgraded in recent years and is currently used for vacation and recreation. The cabin is located by the sea and in the immediate area you will find beautiful nature trails, mountains with spectacular views, possibility of sea fishing and great skiing in winter. Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year, it may be especially attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund farm for Norgesferie.

The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.
