Stunning Tranquil Mill 1797: Miller's House

Relax on the banks of the Hermeton river in this unique & peaceful country mill or get ready for splendid hikes in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. The Miller's house is one of the three lodgings of the Moulin de Soulme, a historic residence classified as Walloon heritage, below one of the thirty most beautiful villages in Wallonia. Located in the middle of a protected nature reserve where you can observe beavers, herons, pike, salamanders or multicolored butterflies in a preserved flora.

Dive into a 70-hectare forest, just steps from the Meuse River, and discover Woody, perfect for nature lovers. From the bungalow, explore hiking trails that are dog-friendly. Nearby attractions include the Château de Freÿr, Dinant, and Maredsous. We take great care to thoroughly clean the property after each stay. However, as the accommodation welcomes dogs, a few hairs may remain despite our efforts. If you are sensitive or allergic, please take this into consideration.

The cottage is located in a small village, right next to the church. It is close to many tourist attractions: Han caves, Han animal park, Lesse Kayak descent, Rochefort town, Vêves, Lavaux Sainte-Anne, Freÿr castles, Dinant town... You will appreciate the cottage for the cozy atmosphere of the interior, the calm, the nature. In winter, you can enjoy a good wood fire and in summer you can enjoy a large private terrace with barbecue.

The "Mountain", quiet and natural next to Dinant

It's worth it, the Mountain. The house is located on a flank of the Meuse Valley. When you take the centuries-old pilgrims' path, you are happy to arrive, breathing at the foot of the Dinant wall. Our family home is there, waiting for you. It was our grandfather who hung it on the rock "to prevent it from sliding down". My brothers and I decided to keep it and occasionally open it to other lovers of the region.
