My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this condo very much! our first time to Barbados so we were not sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. plenty of parking at this building. codes for all doors making for a safe environment. the condo itself was very much like the pictures with a few updates in person. the AC worked well when we used it. couch and bed were very comfortable. kitchen was well equipped. location is prime with restaurants in walking distance but also the ability to get around the island easily if you have a rental car or take the buses. we would not hesitate to stay here again next time we come to Barbados. thank you again!

I was in Barbados for a nearby conference and this location was ideal for my one week stay. The space was as advertised and very comfortable. I appreciated being easy walking distance to my conference venue and both entertainment and eateries. There are also very walkable grocery stores and pharmacies nearby, and I made use of the full size appliances for my meals outside of my meetings. Russell was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating and gave easy to follow instructions for finding the house. I appreciated being able to check out later given the time of my flight. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would book again should I head back to Barbados!

My husband and I stayed at Sandie’s place for just over two weeks, from the end of December until mid-January. This was our second time in Barbados and we chose Sandie’s place because we knew we wanted to be close to Rockley beach and all the great local amenities (including a very short bus ride to St Lawrence’s Gap). The studio was exactly as described - clean, with all you would need for a home away from home, and a less than 10-minute leisurely walk to the beach. We’d recommend Sandie’s place for the location and fair price.

My partner and I stayed at Jason’s place for 9 days during our first trip to Barbados, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The location is ideal - perfectly situated between Bridgetown and St. Lawrence Gap/Oistins, with easy access to highways and public transportation. While we rented a car to explore the island, it’s worth noting that the #11 bus stops nearby and runs along the West Coast - Jason was kind enough to explain how to use it. He was a hospitable host, offering great recommendations and helpful tips on enjoying island life. One hidden gem we loved was the nearby food truck spot - just a 5-minute walk from the apartment and absolutely worth checking out. We’re already looking forward to coming back to Barbados - and we’ll definitely be staying at Jason’s place again. Also, thank you for the fresh mangoes and nutritious starter breakfast - such a thoughtful touch!

Have had the best 8 nights stay at magical Saltlife. Would definitely recommend and book again. The location was perfect, very central for everywhere we wanted to go to in our hire car, as well as lots walkable distance. Elayne and her house manager Kim were so helpful throughout our trip, nothing was too much hassle for them and they were very responsive. The apartment is so beautiful, we have slept SO well all week, the bed is huge and very comfy and the room is very cool with great air con and a lovely little oasis of a swimming pool to relax around and come back to. Morning runs out the front door down to the board walk have been a highlight, especially jumping in the pool upon returning. This place has felt like home, great value for money and we are really grateful to Elayne.

We had a fantastic 11-day stay at Priscilla’s beautiful home, just a short walk from the beach, local restaurants, and her refreshing pool. Nestled in a peaceful setting with a lovely garden, it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a slice of island life. The hosts were warm and welcoming, offering additional services when needed. We would definitely recommend this stay and would gladly book again.

If you are looking for a place to “live like a local” while having the comfort of AC in your bedroom at night, this place is it. We chose this for the Christ Church location since we were visiting family there. We loved that we could cross the street and get right in the ocean, take a stroll on the boardwalk, or catch a van to another beach. Restaurants nearby were great and walkable. We have already recommended this place to others. Thanks Pia and Michele for a great stay.

We enjoyed everything: beautiful green yard, big terrace, kitchen with all the needed utilities and spices. And the “cat therapy” - there are two adorable girl cats in the compound. If you don’t want them getting too friendly, just keep the wooden doors closed. We personally found these two fur angels a perfect addition to the coziness of our stay. Funny enough, no matter how much we enjoyed the parks and gardens (such as Hunte’s) on the island, we still saw monkeys much more often when we were in the apartment, as they roam freely in the area. The closest beach occurred to be truly the best one for swimming and fish watching. Savvy on the Bay is less than 10min walk from the apt and has live music, bar and a variety of Caribbean dishes. Our favorite food truck was definitely Jamaica Plantation. 4A’s Super Mart is the neighborhood store where you can get everything needed for a quick meal, as well as some kitty treats. There are stray cats, remember to give them water as it’s hot:)
