As someone who traveled on a budget, I think Alexander and Rosalio's apartment is a good choice. It is a room with a private bathroom, with two fans. There is a small and clean fridge and a microwave. The apartment is located near Piñero station, which makes it quite easy to travel to different parts of the city -- and believe it or not, the transportation is free! I just wish there were more dining options around this area, but you can always take the train or Uber to somewhere else for food. For instance, it is one station away from Río Piedras, where you can find better nightlife. I have to admit that it took me a while to get used to the humidity in San Juan, since the weather here is very different from where I traveled from, Boston. But Rosalio was very kind and responsive to my needs. She kindly provided extra hangers (I washed my clothes) and repellent once I requested them. Although I cannot speak Spanish, our communication was not a big problem. Thank you for having me.

Christians place was great for a week! The neighborhood area felt safe and was quiet. from leaving very early in the morning to coming back or going out very late, area felt very safe. Place was the same as it was in photos, very clean and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again!
