How to use Fast Pay to receive payouts

Fast Pay allows you to receive the money you’ve earned from hosting even faster. In accordance with Airbnb’s standard payout release schedules, we’ll send the payment using your eligible Visa or Mastercard debit or reloadable prepaid card, and the funds will arrive within 30 minutes or less, even including on weekends and holidays. A 1.5% fee (with a maximum fee of $15 USD, including tax if applicable) is deducted from each payout. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or region. Transfers are reviewed, and in some cases, reviews may result in payout holds or delays.

Note: Fast Pay is only available in the USA at this time.

Eligibility

Fast Pay works with Visa or Mastercard debit cards that participate in instant pay services (like Visa Direct or Mastercard Send). Fast Pay will also work with eligible Visa and Mastercard reloadable prepaid cards.

You can find out if your debit or reloadable prepaid card is eligible by trying to add it as a payout method. If your card isn’t eligible, we’ll let you know during the signup process.

Additional fees

To get you your money faster, a 1.5% fee is deducted from each payout. The fee will be capped at a maximum of $15 USD (including tax, if applicable).

How to decide if it’s right for you

Fast Pay is a great option if you want access to your earnings as soon as they’re released, even when banks are closed. You can opt in or out at any time.

If you expect to receive a large payout that exceeds the Visa or Mastercard transaction limits, we recommend receiving your payment by traditional bank transfer to avoid delays. To do this, be sure to set up a routing rule in your payout preferences before confirming the booking.

Single transaction limits apply to both Visa and Mastercard payouts. Visa also has one day, seven day, and thirty day limits. Mastercard has thirty day limits. Here are some examples:
